well, either the headline is wrong or the photo is wrong. But not once, but twice I received something that looked nothing like the picture, and everything like the male connector I ordered elsewhere....

It's difficult to tell from the limited description of this item, but it has five different size grommets to accommodate cords ranging from 18/3 (small) to 10/3 (large).I was using it to create an outside outlet using a heavy, 30-amp rubberized cord running from my tongue-mounted generator to a point at the back of my travel trailer. This cord is too large in diameter and I had to shave off some of the rubber jacket to make it fit but it does. Other connectors (not weatherproof) that I was able to find were not able to accept anything larger than the typical extension cord size and only worked if I removed the jacket altogether.The device overall seems well made. The parts fit together pretty snugly so it took some effort to assemble the cord and connector but I'm pretty confident it will hold up to any weather or abuse it is subjected to while traveling or camping.

This female connector is very robust and waterproof. Ideal for an outdoor extension cord. My 100 foot cord developed a tear so I cut off the excess cord and terminated it with this connector. I liked it so much I bought the matching male connector and assembled it to the other side of the cord. Easy to assemble. I tried a less expensive connector and it was a piece of junk and not waterproof at all. Great solution for plugs exposed to water and moisture, but not submerged. All the parts are in the package, so there's nothing else to buy. Works only with their matching male plug.
