I have had this fan installed in my bedroom for a few weeks now and I absolutely love it. I was sick of getting up in the middle of the night to yank the pull cords on my old ceiling fan to either turn the fan off or turn it up (while trying to remember what speed I was at and how many pulls I needed to reach my desired speed). All that nonsense is gone with this new fan. I can control the fan with the remote (which I mounted by my bedroom light switch). But more often I use the very simple app on my phone or use Alexa to control it with my voice. It responds well using all three methods.I am not super handy and anything dealing with electrical makes me nervous, but after removing my existing fan, I was surprised how easy this fan went up. It took me and a buddy (who I needed to hold the unit while I connected the wires) about 20 minutes to install. Then just a few minutes to connect to wifi and my Alexa.The fan is very quiet. I love that it has 10 speeds. Pretty much level 6 and below I can barely hear the fan. Above that it is more of the whooshing sound of the air moving - not the actual fan.I tend to go to bed hot and then wake up a few hours later freezing. This fan is great for me because I can set a timer to turn it off after I’ve been asleep for a while.It also has a nice feature where you can change the fan speed/flow from normal constant circulation to a “natural” circulation. With the natural option, the fan changes its speed periodically to mimic that of a natural breeze instead of a constant wind.I also like the three fan blades opposed to the typical five. It looks more modern to me.Lastly, I like that I can control the brightness and warmth of the light by adjusting the yellow and white LED levels of the lamp with the app or remote. The only thing that was a little strange is that the yellow and white LEDs behave like two different lamps. What I mean by this is you can’t just turn off the light with Alexa with one command. You have to tell her to turn off the yellow lights and then tell her to turn off the white lights. The phone app also works similarly. I was able to get around this minor inconvenience by placing the ceiling fan lights in my “primary bedroom” Group in the Alexa app, but not the fan itself. This allows me to say “Alexa, turn off the bedroom.” And it will turn both the white and yellow LEDs off simultaneously with one command without also turning off the fan.If you have an existing fan, most people (with the help of a holder) should not be afraid to install this themselves. I nearly called an electrician to install before I opened the box and I’m glad I was able to do it myself and save the money.This was well worth the price and, as I can, I plan to replace all of the fans in my other rooms with this same unit.

The media could not be loaded.  The fan arrived 4 days earlier than promised. It was packaged properly in a heavy duty corrugated carton, and the contents were logically and carefully packed. The remote paired instantly, and comes with a holder to put on the wall, in the holder there are the remote pairing instructions so you don't have to get out the instruction manual. The 3-blade fan produces more air movement than did the 5-blade fan it replaced. That manual by the way is written in English that makes sense to a person whose preferred language is English. The LED is brilliant when brilliance is desired, and dimmable. The fan reverses direction easily from the remote. I am a 25-year Amazon customer and this fan is one of the best things I have ever bought from A.

Bought 2 of these (3 blade) and 3 of the 5 blade ones. My biggest regret is not buying all 5 blades.The 3 blade doesn’t have any issues outside of the remote not working, on either of them. Pairing was a pain in the butt. The actual fan is great. Just the remote doesn’t work.Advice, just buy the 5 blade. Remotes work perfect on those. The App does make it tolerable.

I like everything about this ceiling fan: handsome for 8' ceiling, lighting adjusts intensity and color for eye comfort, reversible fan moves sufficient air on the low setting for constant use. I have my central heating thermostat set at 60F daytime and 62F nightime to have 68-70F.I call that good!The remote works only for ON/OFF until paired at 2.4 WiFi, then every feature on the remote works regardless 2.4 or 5 GHz.The app requires 2.4 GHz WiFi for the setup and will operate on 2,4 or 5 GHz once setup is complete.However, I have WiFi 6 that automatically selects WiFi 2.4 or 5 GHz, and so, I had to use a previous model WiFi that allows selection of 2,4 or 5 GHz to setup the app to have 2.4 GHz for the setup.I went back to WiFi 6 to find the remote continues to work with every feature.The app on my phone is convenient, if I don't use the WiFi 6 modem provided by my internet provider. It is a choice.Maybe the manufacturer will find a way to overcome that? Meanwhile, I love, love, love this ceiling fan.No other ceiling fan I had where I lived moved air effectively or had adjustments to achieve a comfortable intensity and color of light.

I have put up dozens of ceiling fan/lights with remote control but this had to be the easiest one I have installed. Real key was the receiver device for the remote control was already mounted in the base and no exposed wires to hide or connect, it is a simple plug. You do not have to slide the receiver in and try to dress up the wire connections (saves a lot of time and frustration). The reverse/forward button on the remote is a great feature, no more flipping the switch on the ceiling base (what a plus). The light features are great because you can set warm, cool or white on the remote and dim any of the modes. Connects to WIFI and Bluetooth very easily. It is amazingly quiet when running. Assembly and install (plus connectivity took a little over an hour). Recommend installing the fan blades prior than trying to install them when the fan base is mounted ( it is very lite to pick-up and place on the hanging clip so you can connect the power wires). The magnetic LED light is is really unique. Great Product!!
