The media could not be loaded.  Some time ago at work, we got served ginger shots to wake us up during a long shift. I confess I wasn't prepared for the intensity -- it was like drinking three espresso shots at once, minus the jitters and anxiety. Just a shot of absolutely raw energy with, I grant you, a pretty paralyzingly bad taste. In hopes of repeating that experience when necessary I purchased these.I confess to being a little disappointed. They actually taste pretty good, which may sound like a strange criticism, but what I was aiming for here was that hit-on-the-head-with-a-stunning-hammer feeling I'd gotten at work. These are mild by comparison: probably good for you, but the ginger-jolt I wanted was missing. So, if you're looking for a healthy little drink, this probably fits the bill: if you're craving a lightning bolt in the mouth that invigorates you for an hour, look elsewhere.
