Pocket interior is about 3 1/8" wide by 5 1/8" long, so it will accommodate most midsize phones w/protective shell. For example, Moto Z with a thin rubber shell case fits snug, with enough sticking out the top to get your fingers on to pull the phone out of your pocket fast enough to answer a call.
