Intriguing!
Sam Hall put a whole new twist on A/B/O dynamics and relationships that I hadn’t encountered before and I LOVE it! For all that I love about this book, I must admit that it was often confusing about who said what or who did what. There’s no clear POV. Every character is in every chapter and conversations and intimacy were all over the place (IMO) , Things progressed quickly in this book. I would have had a better understanding of each chapter was labeled as who the focus of the chapter was. Marcus’ thoughts and actions could have been explained more. You won’t know what he does or why until the end of the book. I also found it annoying that each intimate scene had all four males saying that they would give her everything or that phrase “good girl”. I didn’t understand how an Omega’s reputation would be ruined if they were caught alone with an Alpha if they could have sex with Beta’s and there was no rule of needing a pure or untried Omega when choosing one as a mate. I found it intriguing that a pack of 4 Alpha males were openly in love with each other and maintained a committed polyamorous relationship. It’s a very steamy tale that will take you on a ride that most A/B/O stories won’t.

not what I expected
When Cyn was young she saw a group of boys doing some precarious things. In this world, a normal mating is one alpha and one omega. Now older, Cyn has yet to mate an alpha. Here enters those same group of boys who have proposed for Cyn to act as their beard until she finds her mate. Things are going fine until they’re not.I enjoyed this book more than I thought I would. I like that they do everything as a group. I also like how we learned about their past. There was chemistry, amazing details and some unexpected plot twists. I wish the author showed us an example of Bren being mistreated because I didn’t get those vibes at all. When did they treat him less than? Or is it that he just doesn’t have a designation? He was a package deal with Rhys. I liked that the author highlighted the biology of it all and that the a/o was almost a separate entity. Marcus is a master manipulator and I don’t know if I would’ve trusted him enough to be with him. These men didn’t do enough groveling for me. Orion didn’t apologize. He had his sister do it for him. Cyn told Orion he couldn’t call her omega until he earned it. He didn’t do anything to earn it. Another issue is that the author built Cyn up just to tear her down in a way she couldn’t save herself. She should’ve been the one to make the final blow. I do appreciate that this ended in a we’re together but we definitely have things to work on. This was way more than a regular reverse harem. This was a I’ll go to the ends of earth for you.I think the author did a great job of explaining what an omegaverse is and breaking it down. She did a good job with her triggers as well. I wish the flashback in the beginning was italicized. I also don’t like that they call each other brother when they’re lovers. The author also noted that Australian lingo is a mashup of British and American English. With that being said, some words were flat out misspelled.

Loved
I am so glad more omegaverse books like this are coming out. I don’t enjoy the super dark omegaverse books because of the consent issues (within in the harem/couple in particular), but this book managed to give us a real idea of what the world would be like with the A/B/O designation, with the darkness and issues that can arise from that, without being a dark book. And despite their nature trying to take control at times, the men always made sure to give Cyn choices and make sure they got consent. I liked the characters, and I thought it was interesting to see Cyn sort of go back and forth between being strong and still submissive as it was in her nature, and it was what she wanted. She wasn’t necessarily fighting the fact that she is submissive in some ways, but she hated that she couldn’t make decisions for life and was at the whim of everyone else.(Some spoilers) I do have a couple issues with the book. First, I wished we had gotten more insight into the guys’ relationship with Cyn. The whole point of it was that they loved her not just because she’s an omega, but we didn’t get to see them actually spent time together or enjoy each other’s company, except for the sex scenes or when they were fighting. I wished we had gotten to see more interactions where you can see them actually falling for her as much as we get with the stories about how the guys fell for each other. AS a matter of fact, we don't get full backstories for all of the guys, just pieces of their history. My other issues is that it felt more like HFN, than HEA. We don't get to see how they resolve some of their issues, including how Brandon was sort of left out of a lot. I want to know more about their lives together, especially if any of it involves taking part in some of the club sexy activities, but I am hoping we get to see more of them in the next books. (End of maybe spoilers)One of my favorite things about Sam is that her trigger warnings are very detailed, so read her warnings at the beginning if you have any triggers. Like I said before, there might be some dark topics but it’s not a dark book and (SPOILER) nothing bad happens to Cyn. (End spoiler)I will say to anyone who has an issue with MM that this book might not be for you. There’s lots of MM. The guys are in love with each other and show it often, and are every affectionate with each other (swoon!).

Loved it!!
It was fascinating! I don't think I've read a book like this before so I really enjoyed it! For most of the book, I couldn't guess what would come next, so yay! I loved all the guys and Cyn. Loved how they fit together! How they became stronger for each other with each other. Just loved it!Thank you, Sam Hall and team, for this awesome book!

Awe this story
I love me a good character growth story! The development of strength in my opinion the omega went through was amazing. I also didn't see the turn of events going with "megamind". I truly enjoyed it. Spice scenes were high quality over quantity I would say. But recommend.

Good read
Fantastic story with a fabulous cast of characters. Kept the pages turning so as see what happens. Plenty of action with enough twists to keep you guessing

One of the best reads, I ever had.
This was something deep level! I loved it. So well written. So intense. Everything on a deep level - the characters, the world building, the problems of humanity. That book is one, I wouldn't forget a long time. And I have read a lot. There is always a handful of books I remember well. And it is Omegaverse, too. I usually don't like the common Omegaverse books that much. Not because of triggers, and I basically have no triggers. And I like some good sub/dom stories, too.But it often made no sense (a female got punished for everything - even it's nothing bad) or it's not good written, that it is authentic and understandable. That's why I love the "Sweetverse"-direction more. It's more complex to me and still have domination and submission in it. In a deeper way. And it relies more on the relationship. Unfortunately, there aren't much of those. So I was happy, that Sam Hall wrote this. I know some good (all Kathryn Moon books in that case - like Lola and the Millionaires). And Sam Hall did a great job and transport this fantastical. It is hard to converse all the facetted of psychologic and personalities in an authentic way. I was sucked in the book from the first page. I couldn't stop reading - I really only stopped for sleeping. But this book is worth every minute. All the emotions, twists and turns - that was like going on a roller coaster. Cyn was the sort of Omega, I wish to read more often. Determined to be better like her designations' reputation. She didn't let anyone define her. She stepped outside the box and stepped over her boundaries as much as possible. Everyone knows that this is the hardest part to do, and it needs courage. And the Alphas in her life - they fit and complement each other. It's not like other books, where every Alpha may be different in their own way, but sometimes you ask yourself why they are part of the story? But here they add to the mix and strengthen the pack. A real unit. And with Cyn it is complete and got solid. And nothing, that was written, felt like a gap filler or unnecessary. I really look forward to book 2. I have high expectations now and hope it doesn't end with two books - and there are more. And maybe we see more from Cyn and her Alphas? I really hope so. The epilogue was a little shorter and not far in the future... I wished to see, what it would be like with kids?Anyway, 5/5 stars for this.

Good stand-alone
I can always expect Sam Hall to give her own bit of flair and spice to a popular trope. Whether it’s omegaverse, fated mates, fae, she always gives her own little twist. This book was no different. What started off as a seemingly omegaverse/kind of sweetverse book ended up having a whole ulterior background, of course. I can’t get onto it without spoilers but we have betrayal, ulterior motives, secrets and so much more. If you think this is just about a girl getting the guys, it’s not that at all. Well, maybe a little.Cyn, our female main character, is not your typical omega. She was raised by a strong beta to potentially become a beta or even an alpha. It surprised both her and her mother when she emerged as an omega. She’s strong, she’s defiant and she fights for what she believes in. She understands that it’s hard to fight biology but she always tries to remain true to herself and what she believes in.I don’t know what I can say about the men without giving away a lot of spoilers. I did enjoy that they were in their own relationship and it was explained why it was different and how having Cyn brought in would change many things. As with typical omegaverse, there’s a lot of steam and Sam Hall excels in writing those. Just read her books if that’s what you like. There are so many revelations, some I wasn’t even expecting, but it all came together beautifully at the end. For those who enjoy a sweeter omegaverse but still a few alphaholes, this one is for you.
