Red and Green Christmas Laser Lights with Remote - Indoor and Outdoor Light Projector

This item is very sturdily constructed; heavy-gauge plastic, quality wiring and waterproof connections, like a piece of professional lighting equipment. The results are exactly what I wanted, namely the appearance of thousands of little bulbs on everything--trees, shrubs and the front of the house. One unit isn't going to evenly cover a large home, but two might do it--three for sure. I didn't need that. I just wanted to highlight an area around the entry, so I'm happy with one. The effect is particularly dazzling on tree leaves when they blow in the wind--like thousands of red and green fire flies flickering! The light it puts out is very bright and vibrant but it doesn't do a bunch of special effects. You can pick all green, all red (which are much fewer in number) or red and green, which I like best. There is the choice of having them flash but that looks fairly cheesy to me. I took off one star because it really does just one thing, and that's a steady, constant burst of brightly colored spots--but that happens to be exactly what I wanted!

This kit is a good value, and with the instructions provided I was able to set up the digital display with little effort. The mode control on the remote provides several options for display, and for my house the changing (non-flashing) pattern seems to be the best. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is as follows: the remote control comes with batteries that are covered in plastic (for safety in shipping), and you will need to unscrew the battery compartment to remove the plastic covering from the batteries before using the remote. The screw is TINY, and no tool is provided to unlock it! A regular screwdriver is far too large. I had to buy an eyeglass repair kit with small screwdriver for $1.99 at the drugstore to be able to access the battery compartment. This was an annoying oversight on the part of the manufacturer. Otherwise I am happy with the display which provides festive lights that are easy to set up and enjoy.

I bought 3 lights just to see if they really looked good and worked as advertised. They looked so good, I bought 2 more to add to the front of the house. My wife was very very skeptical but when I showed her the results after it got dark, she LOVED them. Now, last year I spent a stupid $900 to get lights put on the house and it looked OK. But for a fraction of the cost, the house looks much better this year. I plan to buy a few more, one for the inside cathedral ceiling we have.......MERRY CHRISTMAS!BTW, if you buy all your lights from the manufacturer, one remote works on all the lights! So, with one push of the button, they all come on and can all shut off.

I installed my two lights yesterday. At first I could not turn them off with my remote, so then I just set them up on the flashing mode and set them for eight hours. This morning they were off so I hope that they are alright. I'll try turning them on at dusk today and again set them for 8 hours. The dot pattern in green and red looks good when it is flashing, My wife liked it.

Only put outside for 10 days and already the red light does not work only the green light. And this is in the area of Florida with no bad weather but a little rain.

I bought a total of three. My family and I love them. They look great and are easy to install. Decorating this year took me 15 minutes for the outside Christmas lights. We get a lot of compliments from other people that drive by to look at the Christmas lights.

Hi Spencer, I love the Red & Green Lights with the remote it something different you can use indoors or outdoors even my neighbors are buying the product, if anyone is interested in buying the Red & Green Lights with the Remote I would recommend it.

The red laser stopped working after a week. I contacted the seller and they responded once but I haven’t heard anything since.

I got 3 of these things November 1st. and the red laser Quit in 2 of them before December, just long enough for me to through out the packaging.

Lamps provide good illumination, but their durability hasn't been established yet. I would like to order more, but they are gone!

I really love the brightness and beautiful display of green and red flashing on our house. Timer is so handy.The neighbors have a different brand but I can not see them unless I go right up to their house. These ones I can see from down the street!

Pros - Easy to set up. Remote is nice and handy. Covers a large area.Cons - Only has 2 modes flash or solid, Only lasted 1 season and part of another Dec. 20/18

Worked great. Never made it out of the house, we liked it on the ceiling and walls too much.
