Feels good & Doesn't feel cheap.
When I was looking for grid paper that would give me plenty of space for handwritten notes, that would be 4 squares per inch (instead of 5), I was glad to find this one and try it out.Quick thoughts:• This paper feels just about the same as a high quality printer paper does. You know how sometimes you want to just go to the printer and take *that* paper to use, instead of writing/drawing on some normal notebook paper? Well this grid paper feels nice like that, too.Pros:• Great quality weight/thickness of paper. Writing with a mechanical pencil feels good. In the times that I almost stuck the tapered end of the pencil lead through on accident, the paper was still in good shape and was not punctured! Pages stay smooth when using an eraser.• Excellent precut tear lines. You can just get a tear started at the top corner of a page, and then the page will effortlessly tear out out just like one of those fancy hotel writing pads. It's very slick!• Opaque pages. I've been writing & drawing on these under a bright white desk lamp, which overhangs the surface I'm writing on by about 2 feet; in spite of my bright lighting and dark (2B) pencil markings, I don't notice any writing/drawing that's underneath the top page that I'm looking at. The amount you can see thru to the next page is very faint, very minimal - nonexistent if using HB ("number-2 pencil") or even B pencil.• The back cover is very sturdy & rigid. Good to carry around without a clipboard, if still in good condition.Cons:• The one nitpick of mine. The grid lines are too dark & thick compared to what I want. My use-case of it is unusual though; I'm working thru a language book and practicing handwriting - and so I found that 5mm squares in gridded paper were too small, whereas 6.125mm squares like this are the "just-right" size, however 4-per-inch ruled grid paper is just slightly more rare. So yeah I'm having difficulty finding an alternative that's better.• Cost per page that you get is -maybe- high compared to other products. Conclusion:• These grid paper pages are GREAT for people are a beginner at using graph paper; or, people who need to keep their work & refer back to it later! Feels good, doesn't feel cheap.

You're kidding yourself if you think there is a better Quadrille Note Pad out there.
This notebook genuinely excites me. Attention to detail in it's craftsmanship is unparalleled. Top details that people don't talk about: 1. Tear away front page. The cover you see that says the name/company/product info is a thin page that tears away. Beneath that, the actual cover is a sturdy poster board like material in solid navy blue. very minimal exterior which is nice for daily use. 2. The cover has creases along that top allowing it to fold in a very clean, square shape up and around the binding along the top. Incredibly useful. 3. Printed grid. It's thin light grey lines so you can still see a pencil mark when you trace along it. Precise-- lines are never misaligned to the page edge or different weight. 4. Paper quality. Pages are thick enough to not bleed while using a heavy flow pen. 5. Quadrille means 4 squares per inch. Why are most grid pads 5 squares per inch? Couldn't tell you. If you're in EU fine, 2mm per square is cool but 1/5" per square is useless. For less than a dollar more than the rest, this is absolutely the move. Don't play yourself.(I'm an engineer in the US. Happy shopping.)
