I have used this item exclusively for cleaning my glass cooktop. The release slide was always difficult to move. But now, it is impossible to slide it open. Obviously, it is no good if I can't open it. I will not buy this product again.

Where have you been all my life
Love this little tool. Metal razor blades are great for my glass stove top and inside the oven. Just discovered that the plastic side, which I thought I wouldn’t use, is amazingly good at scraping candle wax drips off the table, and very satisfying at that.

Don't waist your Money
I am very disappointed in this purchase. It is hard to open pup in the first place and is not easy to use as the blade does not stay out and keeps slipping back in when in use. I would NOT recommend this one

They don't lock well
I purchased these for cleaning around my kitchen (scraping a flat top stove top). They have a great shape, fit well unto the hand, and came with a ton of spare blades. However, overall I'm not impressed. The locking mechanism is very weak. If I'm cleaning say jam or stuck on stains, the lock gives out and the blade retracts into the casing making it useless. The only way to use it on stuck on stains is to keep my thumb behind the locking mechanism which is quite uncomfortable. I would not purchase again or recommend for anything except the lightest duty ocasional use.
