This GoPro mount works like a champ, we went on Mount Olympus (yes, in Greece!) and around Athens and other ancient sites. It is well built, easy attachment and once it is locked in position, it holds it very well. If you are a hiker or a good walker, this would fit your needs. Recommended! Just the other year we went to our first skiing/snowboarding trip and wanted to capture all the fun. After all said and done, this camera mount help me capture our trip. It was so cool to relive the experience from a first person view. It was easy to use just a little weird setting it up because I'm not the most flexible person. But overall worked out perfect without breaking the bank. Highly recommended!!!

This is a really nice mount for backpacks that I've gotten a lot of compliments on. It fits any standard go pro type teeth mounts.The big difference between this mount and other strap mounts is that this mount extends a bit out from your shoulder straps on your backpack. I've found that this helps in a number of ways. First, you can actually see your screen easily since it's away from your body. This helps me work my camera without stopping or having to move the camera position to see what I need to do. Second, I don't get accidental chin bumps with my camera when I swing my head around. Third, with the way the mount is constructed. It's easy to adjust not only your vertical up and down view. But also your horizontal left and right adjustments to make sure you are level.The ball joints and straps are also heavy duty. With the straps having just a small amount of padding to them.The one thing though you have to make sure is that your backpack straps are on tight or you will get a bit of bounce. On my gopro 8, this hasn't been an issue at all though.Overall, I'm glad I changed to this mount than my previous clip mount.

This mount is built like a tank, but not too heavy. It comes with a 3 prong GoPro-style mount head and 2 different tripod-type mount heads. Any of the heads can be mounted on the base in either the top, middle or bottom of the base. The base is secured to your backpack strap via 2 heavy duty hook and loop (Velcro-type) straps. The double ball-and-joint style arm allows for a variety of adjustments to fine tune the location of your camera and when really tightened down, is secure and stable.I purchased this to mount my hand-held Feiyutech G6 gimbal (holding my GoPro) to my back pack strap to allow hands free operation. I can easily take my gimbal off the mount to use in hand, but when i want both of my hands free, i just attach it to this shoulder mount and I am good to go. I am very happy with the high quality of this mount especially considering the low cost. I am about to take it on a international trip and put it through its paces ziplining, horseback riding, hiking etc and will update here with my results.

I took this on a recent white water rafting trip and it did work great! However, I couldn't strap it onto my life jacket like onto a backpack. The bands are not stretchy at all and only allow a really small strap to wrap around. I was able to fandangle it to work on the front of my life jacket strapped to the cross straps and it works on top of my helmet. So I really liked it and through it worked well I just think the straps could be a little more flexible.

This is a fantastic product and does exactly what it's advertised to do. I actually had to email support, which I did on a Friday, and by Saturday morning I already had a detailed and friendly response from Paul. The reason I had to contact support is because, stupid me, I couldn't figure out how to put the thing together in order to connect my GoPro Hero5. There were all sorts of pieces just sort of mixed in a bag and I had no clue what went where as the instructions provided weren't all that helpful.After I emailed them about this issue, I was told they recently changed their packaging / instructions to help cut costs and he recognized that the new instructions aren't sufficient enough. I was sent more detailed instructions, which I provided here, and these new instructions are apparently going to be included with future shipments instead of the instructions I received. He also gave me a phone number to call if I was still having issues.Once I was able to figure out how to install it, I realized that as I expected, it's stupid simple. I took it for a 6 mile hike today and it's exactly what I was looking for. I've used some other "clips" to hold my GoPro but I never got the full range of motion or flexibility I needed. This thing does it perfectly, it's well built, and if you do happen to need customer service I can attest to them being helpful.All in all a fantastic product.
