I got this during Black Friday in order to tidy up my desk and have just one cable running to the laptop so that I didn't need to constantly plug in/out my ethernet, hdmi, mouse and keyboard when going to and from the office. Now it's just one USB C. I can pack away the laptop's charger as well. I still need to find a way to tidy up the cables on the desk and hide them a bit better. Overall happy with the ease of use and the design.

Can not get the video ports to work

My goal was a single cable from my MacBook Pro which connected to a 4K monitor, wired LAN, external SSD and USB speakers while powering the laptop and a phone wirelessly. This does all that, and I've added a cheap 4-port USB 3.0 hub to give me some options for attaching USB-A thumb drives if required. Dual screen or using the MacBook in clamshell mode works great at 60Hz connecting to my monitor via HDMI. This was the 3rd dock I'd tried as all of the others had issues with the display resolutions, which this doesn't. It was almost half the price too! I've still got an Anker power bank I bought several years ago when that was pretty much all they did. My home office is now full of Anker stuff, and it all works well, and if it doesn't the support is good too. I'd happily recommend it.

After a month the docking station stopped working and I had to contact anker directly which is has been a nightmare.- no quick response, after 5 days I still have not received the replacement- asking the same questions in their emails- no ETAVery bad experience overall

Trying to reduce cables to my laptops to one cable as they are constantly being plugged in and switched, I thought this would be a good option. Sadly one of my laptops is only DisplayPort 1.2 compatible this means with two screens attached the max resolution is only full hd, when one of my screens is QHD this is less than optimal. I do have another Anker DP -> dual HDMI which works fine from the same port. I did even plugging that into the USB-C outlet on this but that port does not support DP so didn't work at all. Somewhat frustratingly also, the unit has a power switch and needs the button pressing whenever it is powered up, as I wanted to place this under a desk, that would be frustrating.

It did a good job of what it's supposed to do, though I had some trouble with the monitor ports occasionally. Sadly ten days after its one year anniversary in my possession, it failed to turn on and smells like it has let the magic smoke out.

Really like this hub. It works well for MacBook Pros and Windows machines on USB-C.

While power delivery, and all the usb functions of the dock are working, the 28" Benq monitor connected with HDMI to HDMI from the Anker Dock is not functioning. Have tried multiple cables- no luck. Have tried all the aforementioned cables direct into the Mac, and they function when used in that way.VERY frustrating- I thought the whole point of this was to reduce all the docking cables down to one?!A fix would be very much appreciated!
