A fine example of a kukri, but with problems.
The knife is properly made. Very Very well balanced for it's primitive manufacturing methods. As such... Amazing craftsmanship and I bought another as a gift for a friend as it stands. That said. I will buy yet another one of these shortly, however having owned an actual WW2 version, the angle of the belt loop is wrong. This configuration is wrong. The belt loop should be off Angle to the blade so the sheeth matches an at rest hand at the side making draw easier. The belt loop is set at 90 but it should be offset from the hilt by about 35 - 40 degrees. Both for weight distribution and for draw. Maybe my antique was modified to be proper. But this thing hangs like a female oriented self pleasure tool off my belt and is dangerous to draw as such. Not a big deal for someone who knows how to drill and redo a leather piece... But pricey and unnecessary if they just did it right in the first place. So, I am adding 2 photos.. how it hangs... And how it should hang. The seam to the left is the midseam on regular pants. My Kukri from the 40s... Is offset.

Unreliable scabbard
Buy a better scabbard. Kydex or a custom leather one

Beautiful and hand ground, unfortunately stress cracks from heat treat.
Absolutely gorgeous and love the feel and the heritage. Unfortunately this specific blade has some crack propagation from the stress concentrations at the blade notch. In this condition, I would be concerned about using it as a fun work knife in the yard. It will look great as a conversation piece though!

The Real Deal
This is a solid tool that exceeded my expectations. My fear was that I’d receive a tourist style bauble. Oh no, the man that made my khukri is a professional blade smith and delivered a hard core survival level knife.

Not as advertised
I did receive the correct kukri but my blade is not stamped with gk&co or the word Nepal as advertised… very disappointed about that but still a nice kukri. Overall tho really unhappy about the blank blade…
