I purchased one of these 2 years ago, and still working great. It is mounted 12 feet up, and catches the cat's motion coming up the back stairs. I recently bought 2 more, set as dusk to dawn, and also working great for 2 months. All are mounted underneath the eves. Good quality, good price, and easy to install if you are replacing existing flood lights (no extra parts needed). You do need at least rudimentary electrical skills if mounting yourself (black to black, white to white, turn off the breaker, etc.). Otherwise, only takes 30 minutes or so to install. Lightweight fixture and easy to handle. Even set on half the light intensity, it still is very bright.

This is my third install of these lights that are so easy to install and work great! As my older units burn out and their sensors stop working, I've been replacing with this unit! so great! Takes no more than 5 mins to install!

I install two of these for a friend. I think the overall quality is quite good. I also like that it is available with a warm white light output, which I find more pleasing than the blue light often used in these types of lights. The light was easy to install, although the quality of the screws used to mount the crossbar to the box seemed substandard, those are a common screw size and are easily replaced. My only complaint is that the included instructions for adjusting the light settings are rather confusing. It took more than a few readings to understand what they mean, and even then I was scratching my head a bit. The main thing to know is that unlike most current security lights, there is no TEST mode. Unless you are able to adjust the lights at night, you will need to look very carefully at the sensor to see if the red LED flashes. This can be very difficult to see in full daylight. Time will tell about the durability of the light.

I installed it where a previous fixture was in about 8-10 minutes. You can adjust it to be on full time at dark off at dawn, as a motion sensor light after dark. Gives off a very bright light that is sure to expose unwanted nighttime visitors. The projection of the lighted area can be focused to where you want to spot it.I'll be buying additional Leonlites like this around my house for added security.

Light Fixtures (except controllers) are very well made ... I really like the swivel & height adjustments and rotating baffle (light shield) of the lights themselves BUT and this is a big BUT: I bought 4 & I have tested 3 (4th one is still in the box). TWO of them blew the GFI circuit I have connected to my workbench ... others have reported the same problem. Bottom line is the Motion Sensing Controllers in these units are junk. Even when they are "working" (I got 1 of the 3 to work so I installed it to function test), I was VERY DISAPPOINTED! Poor range & the crap quality potentiometers cause erratic adjustment. See other folk's reviews about this .... all true. Now for the good news. If you don't mind spending a little more money, remove the P.O.S. motion sensing controller from each light and replace with a RAB Mini Sensor SMG 500 (Walmart, Amazon, other sellers). Will set you back about $55 - $60 each (more than the LED Light Fixture), but you get what you pay for. The RAB units are high quality professional level electronics and work perfectly. I just finished installing and setting up two LEONLIGHTs with RAB controllers and they are WONDERFUL for my purpose (soffit mounted). So good that I just ordered 2 more RAB units to retrofit the other two LEONLIGHTs. The "TOY" LEONLIGHT motion sensors will go directly in the trash!COME ON LEONLIGHTs, get with the program. The Motion Controller is the wrong place to go cheap on an otherwise well made LED Security light.

This was easy to install, set up and operate. It has just enough settings to select:-How long it stays on after activation-How far away an object is to turn on light-Switches for other modes like Dawn to DuskI like this. I purchased 2 of these lights. They are easy to install, are bright and have some nice customization features like range of motion detection. The only complaint I have is the disk till dawn mode doesn’t work. It’ll flash every 30 seconds or so, then turn off and repeat.
