Easy Install. Less $$$ than National Brands
As good or better than Original Equipment and equal to the nationally recognized name brand. Easy to install in most vehicles; save a bundle over purchase and installation at dealership or oil change places. ( YOU won't believe how much they charge!)Check your owners manual OR YouTube for location and installation instructions for your make & model vehicle. Mine was easy to locate and install. Took me 15 minutes and I only needed a flash light and screw driver. (Flash light because I did too early in the morning). Good luck!

Feels pretty sturdy
This filter appears to be identical to the Fram filter it replaced. The two sides that bind the pleats consist of stiff/heavy cardboard. The sides that do not bind the pleats is just open (no coardboard framing), but the filter doesn't deform easily. The charcoal seems to add noticeable heft to the filter. I also compared this filter to the more expensive Bosch filter. While the Bosch filter had about 4-5 more pleats, it did not contain charcoal, was light as a feather, and was easily deformed. Although the Bosch filter is currently installed, I feel like this filter will be a better value. I plan to buy this filter the next time I need to replace the air filter.
