So many creative ways to do an easy activity with your pre-K child!
This book is full of wonderful projects for me and my 4 year old to do together. I love that all of the materials required for the projects can be found around the house and it feels great to repurpose things that otherwise would go in the trash (paper tubes, bubble wrap, egg cartons, milk gallons, etc). It's a nice way to teach reusing and recycling to young children. I have two older kids so our craft closet is exploding with craft books and materials - we've done it all. But the ideas in this book are really creative and I haven't seen a book like this anywhere else - lots of neat ideas! So far, everything we've tried in this book are easy to do with a pre-K age child and each project has beautiful pictures that show steps in the process. We just got the book this week but our favorites so far are the alligator letter feed and the cardboard emotion wheel. I like how the book is organized by materials required. The instructions are simple and straightforward with pictures to help guide the kids as they're working.

Amazing DIY book for toddler activities
The media could not be loaded. All of these activities are perfect for toddlers. They use reusable items and have so many fine motor activities. I’m not very creative so this book really helped me.

I have been following their #recycleandplay hashtag for years and am always wowed by the creativity. This related book by Agnes did not disappoint. It is filled with the cutest DIY toys and activities! There is a fun variety of ideas ranging from simple to make to ideas that require more effort (but totally worth it!). My favorites are the hippo game, alligator letter feed, and bunny planters. The book is the perfect for parents looking to keep younger children busy with inexpensive fun that you can create together. I love the interactive aspect to many of the ideas and many incorporate basic skills such as color sorting and math.

Cute and crafty
What a colorful and fun way to recycle some used stuff into something worth playing with. I really loved the sensory bags. If your looking for some fun activities for pre-k child without spending a ton of money then try this. The memory card game was also very cute. Teachers and aides may also get some use out of this crafty book. Four stars!I received a complimentary copy to look at and voluntarily left a review.

Creative and very fun activities!
I was so excited about this book that I bought two copies—one for my family and one as a gift. I always feel bad throwing packaging materials, such as bubble wrap away, and Agnes’s book gives a second life to those materials! There are several cute and very creative bubble wrap activities. I can’t wait to try the mess-free bubble wrap painting idea, because I won’t have brushes to clean up after. :DHighly recommend this book for anyone with kids, because it shows kids that loads of fun can be found in simple everyday items.

Full of cool ideas to repurpose trash into fun activities!
My favorite part of this book? My kids get to see how our everyday trash can be transformed into creative hands-on learning activities. Many of the ideas are great projects for parents and kids to work on together. And kids get to play and learn with these fun DIY toys after. I am a fan of Agnes’ work and this book is a compilation of some of her best ideas! We have bookmarked so many projects in this book and cannot wait to get started!
