These sheet protectors have solved a very annoying problem for me. Like many craft persons, I have an extensive collection of stencils. If you've worked with stencils at all, you know they don't play very nicely with each other, due to all the intricate cuts and voids that just love to snag on each other. Previously, I kept said stencils in standard sheet protectors, lodged in 3 ring binders. I could easily leaf through my collection, select the stencil I wanted to use, and slide it out of its sleeve - no problem. However, attempting to slide the darn things back INTO each sleeve was a nightmare. I realized that having to struggle to put away my stencils was actually discouraging me from reaching for them in the first place. I know, lazy - right?Since changing over to the Quick-Load Sheet Protectors, I'm friends with my stencils again. It is a breeze to pack them away - no struggle, no profanity required. Seriously, this has improved the quality of my process by eliminating one of those little frustrations that can interfere with the creative flow. These side loading sheet protectors are so much easier to use! No more wrinkling a document trying to get it into the sheet protector! When I first opened the box I thought I’d received the wrong product as I couldn’t see that one side was not attached. It’s very subtle, and it does hold documents securely.

My wife wanted a binder to put my son's pictures and crafts in. Because this is open on the top and side, much easier to put papers in. Exactly what she needed.

Once you start using these sheet protectors, you will wonder how you ever lived without them!They are so easy to use, insert, change, move to another notebook, etc. I received the first box as a gift when I was sick, so all my medical records are now easily organized, ready for quick reference, and so nice to take single sheets with me to a doctor's appointment without getting the papers curled or folded.Of course I use them for all my notebooks for events, subjects, remodeling records, etc. Can you tell............I LOVE them! And so will you, don't hesitate to try them.

Some of the reviews did not like the thickness of the sheets. I think it's fine and to have a thicker sheet would take up more space.

My wife uses these in books to highlight home dinners with menu's and lots of pictures of place settings and food served. Really serves the purpose.
