Our daughter loves animal figurines, so Ive bought quite a few. I'm usually looking for detail when it comes to shape and paint job. These are great all around.

I taught an art class about how to paint penguins using these models. The students were still able to clearly see the features of each one over the online connection because the models were large and nicely colored. The students really enjoyed the lesson and appreciated the reference models. I was able to make a step by step how to paint a rock hopper video and post it to a popular video viewing site.

Each penguin looks great. They are even bigger than my hand except for the baby penguin. Also here is a nice feature. On the bottom of each penguin it says which bread they are. Nicely crafted. WARNING: I highly suggest you take them out of the bag before giving them away as a present, and air them out on your front porch. They have that new car smell to them, but that shouldn't lower the 5 star rating. Some people like that new car smell. I am sure my girlfriend's 7 year old daughter will enjoy them. She enjoys Happy Feet, and loves her talking Erik.
