Absolutely the best cookbook out there. I've been a loyal fan of cooks country for years and I have always loved every recipe they make. I'm so very happy to have the last 9 years of their T.V. shows recipes all in one spot. The left side of the book has a beautiful picture of the recipe that is posted on the next page. I couldn't wait to see what the recommendations were for a lot of things and I immediately ordered several cooking gadgets that they had highly recommended. I'll have hours of fun reading the recipes and I'll make a game of opening the book to any page and fix that recipe for dinner. Enjoy please.

This is quickly becoming my new favorite cookbook. All the recipes appear very easy with normal ingredients. What I like are the tips “Why this Recipe Works”. There is a lot of information about the recipes and the testing that this group has done. I’ve already made a few of the recipes and I currently have the Slow-Cooker Chinese Barbecued Pork going in my crockpot for tonight’s dinner. I like the book so much I’ve pre-ordered the next book that will include Season #13. Every recipe has a color photo and while I have some nice cookbooks without pictures, we all know how helpful it is to have photos. The recipes are family favorites and many could fall under the “Comfort Food” label as they are foods a lot of us grew up with.

Wonderful cookbook with color pictures of each dish, and step-by-step instructions for a foolproof recreation of each tasty recipe. I love the ease with which each recipe is presented so that the cook is at ease to make a wonderful dish or complete meal. Everyone e should have this book as part of his or her cooking library. A must have!

I absolutely love this cookbook! It's got every recipe from every recipe through Season 9, and it has a great section on recommended kitchen gadgets and items. There are little blurbs on almost every page that share history or tips.I love Cook's Country, the tv show, and this puts it all right at my fingertips.This and the America's Test Kitchen cookbooks have slowly taken the place of my old, dog-eared, and beloved Betty Crocker cookbook. I still have the latter, but I always reach for this first.

No more watching online episodes and furiously scribbling notes on methods and recipes for the wonderful series Cook's Country. I am sooooo happy with this cookbook.It IS a sturdy paperback so if you are going to use this book in the kitchen and can afford it, get the hardcover edition.I am going to use this for reference and just scan the recipes as I use them.Enjoy.

I have tried several of the recipes in this book and all have turned out great. Our favorite so far is the Charleston Shrimp Perloo. The Tex-Mex Cheese Enchilada's are another great dish. I have added some grilled and shredded chicken to this recipe and it is equally good. I am looking forward to trying many more of these recipes since the ones I have tried are wonderful.

For some reason, I prefer the magazine set up rather than the book set up. However, the recipes are the same was the magazine, all very tasty that I've tried. I prefer the Cook's Country to Cook's Illustrated - it's just a little more like how my family likes to eat.

This product is not as advertised. It clearly states on the cover: "every recipe", "every ingredient testing", etc., in this book. I bought this book For the chili recipe in S9, episode 11. However the recipe in the book called five-alarm chili wasn't even close. The ingredients were different and one of the key tips from the TV show regarding use of baking powder when cooking ground beef was not mentioned. Very disappointed.

Tres cool cookbook. bought this one and America's Test Kitchen. This was is a better value for the money. Love the product reviews.

Book contents are great. But book was received with part of a signature on the first page and part of the page torn off.

Excellent book, great reference tool.
