These perform well for the priceBright white light color, easy installation either multiple mounting options. At 6-8 inches I'm measuring 800+ PPFD on my light meter which should be efficient for vegetable seedlings. Will buy again to add more shelves as needed.

I use these lights for seed starting. I get excellent coverage across a 2'x4' seed starting matt with 4x 10x20 trays. I measured the PPFD and these lights are plenty strong enough to get your plants started properly. There are many similar looking lights on the market but these actually put out some decent photons. I liked them so much I bought another pair.One thing, the instructions above say these lights came with a protective film on them. Mine did not and as a result of how they were packaged the plastic splash protector was slightly scratched during the shipping process. Not enough to make me want to return the light but it wasn't what I wanted to see out of the box.I've been using these lights for 2 weeks and have no concerns on heat output or quality. I'll update my review if anything happens.*UPDATE*I placed an order and received a second set of these lights. This set also had the same scratched plastic shield as the first set. There is no protective cover. This is disappointing because I really do like these lights.

This provides good, full spectrum light and plenty of it. Very easy to set up: everything you need is in the kit. My kitchen garden herbs have perked up and seem happy. I'm looking forward to starting tomatoes and peppers early this coming year.

Good product

Nice lights, but not as strong as advertised - seller claims each light is almost 10,000 (>9k) lumens. We had 2 of these (the 70W ones) side by side on a 4 ft by 2 ft shelf for growing seedlings and started the light at 18 inches from canopy. Plants were reaching and becoming leggy after a couple weeks as we progressively moved the lights to 12, then 6 and then as close a 2 inches above foliage by end of 30 days and still wasn't enough light. We replaced with a better brand light that is ACTUALLY 20k lumens and we had to move the light to 18 inches and reduce the dimmer switch down to 75% or it was burning the seedlings the day we installed it! Fine lights- for auxiliary or supplemental light, but not 10k lumens per light and cannot sustain seedlings as only light source.

Good lights they do what they’re supposed to do!!

I purchased two packs of two lights each and installed them to run overnight for eight hours. After about a week, one of the four units started flickering and then stopped working a few minutes later. The power source is not the issue, as the second light in the series continues to function as expected. While these lights are very nice and easy to install, I am disappointed by their reliability. Additionally, returning them to UPS is quite difficult because they require a customer-supplied box over 4 feet long. What a hassle.
