Viper Sure Grip Soft Tip Darts

This is another quality dart from Viper at a very good price. My wife, daughter and grandson had a great time with them yesterday. Four stars were selected for accuracy because we're not professionals... They liked the soft grip design but they will probably get punctured or torn if you decide to throw steel tips.

I have a Viper soft tip dart board that's probably fifteen years old now, but is in like new condition. I never used it much when it was first gifted to me, but when my kids became old enough to be interested, it became a great go-to toy. They could still get hurt with these darts, but not nearly as much as metal tipped darts, so this is a good choice for responsible and supervised kids in my opinions. However, the stock darts that came with the board were fraying, and the tips were broken on a few. Plus, I wanted cooler looking darts.These fit the bill for the cool factor, and they have a nice weight to them. What I'll say is that they do take a little getting used to. While I rarely have a mis-hit on a stock dart that came with the board, these do bounce out on occasion. I imagine it will improve as I get used to them, but it was a surprise when it happened for the first time.Long story short, these are nicely weighted, seem good quality, and were a good value for the fun factor. Only down side - tip broke off one of these even quicker than the stock darts - could have to do with the weight, but you'd think in today's day and age we could manufacture a tip that could handle this type of play without breaking!

Grips come away from barrels easily, hard to get back on. Otherwise, holds structure very well. Easy to throw.

Sure Grips are awesome to throw. I have 6 sets! I'm a woman with small hands. No more using wax, I can throw more accurate for not thinking about finger slipping on other smoother darts. They are balanced well when the shaft that comes with them is left on. I would definitely recommend these.

Overall not bad for the price they are fairly solid. However you will need to upgrade the flights as they do not last long and you will eventually need to replace the shafts as they get loose and will strip from all the tightening you have to do with them. Also the rubber grip gets dirty fast and looks like they will wear pretty quickly but they have appeal for the price.

If you're not a big time PRO at playing darts then there's no need to waste big bucks. These Viper darts are awesome, in fact my friends liked them so much that they bought the same thing. The "Sure Grip" really helps accuracy and they fly perfectly. I recently bought the Viper Orion Dart Board and it's absolutely phenomenal !Combine the two Viper products and you're sure to have endless fun for a very long time. I have used the same set of Sure-grip darts since the early 90's...I interchange between standard steel tips and electronic board plastic tips, and I couldn't say just how many times I have replaced the rubber grips and the flights. I have never been disappointed, and have had friends switch, due to liking mine. I am reading complaints about the tips bending and breaking...yes, they are going to do that, and when they do you remove it, and replace it with a fresh one, the same goes for the flights, and the rubber sleeves...all are easily replaceable. Some of the reviews even sounded like the consumer was trying to use this set-up with a standard bristle board...yeah...that ain't gonna work. If you want to throw at a standard board you are going to need a set of steel tips.

Weight is perfect, tips do bend after few shots you have to straighten but the tips lasted longer than any other I’ve had.

Desde que abrí el empaque me convencí de la compra, porque fueron bastante baratos y al usarlos, se siente bien el balance y el agarre de la goma.Tenía duda si servirían con mi tablero viejito, pero todo salió ok.
