Works great

I'm great with video and computers, but never fixed anything on my car. I was able to pop off the front middle dash with plastic like flat head screwdriver, pull out the panel below the steering wheel using 10mm wrench and then with a philips screwdriver, I unscrewed the single screw to release the key illuminator. With the key in the ACC position, i was able to eject the ignition lock cylinder with a bent up spoke to be able to reach the little release button on the bottom of the ignition lock cylinder. Now...for anybody saying it doesn't work...it works but you don't understand how it works. In the toyota key is a chip that must be detected and programmed to the car. These keys neither have a chip nor are programmed to the car. To make the ignition work...you have to hold up your old key near the key ignition so that the alarm system turns off (no longer a red dot on the dash) and then the car will turn on and then you can remove the proximity of the old key. You can also purchase a chip key then bring both the new key and the old key to a proper locksmith who then create a new key that matched your ignition and the chip code which is more convenient but obviously more cost. Hope that alleviates any "mysteries" of it not working for anybody! It took me 50 min start to finish to do this...if i were to do this again...probably take me 20 min.

Product works well, just gotta have the doors re-keyed because I didn’t have the original, there’s YouTube videos showing how to change this part out even if you don’t have the original key (just drill out the locking pin)

My old ignition switch locked up , fortunately I had a big screw driver and was able to turn it to acc position to remove it and install this replacement ignition switch. From the time I grabed my tool box to the time I put it away took about 45 minutes to do the job. This ignition switch is working great no problems.

It worked, but it came with two keys, and only one key works, and only one side of the key works. So pray to God that I never lose this one single key, because I went to true value to make extra keys, and none of the keys work! So now I only have one key that only works on one side.

Surprisingly easy to install with few tools. Looks like and works like OEM ignition switch. Binds slightly until the key and key slot are broken in with use.

The part i got does not work for an 02 camry

Was 1/8 cost of local. Paid to have it rekeyed and they had trouble do to bring slight out of spec.
