Does biotin 10,000mcg w/100mg keratin make your hair thicker and grow faster. someone said if you stop using it your hair will fall out. is that true?

I have had no problem whatsoever with losing hair while taking biotin, & I have been using it for a few years. Does make my hair & naiks grow faster.
