Be patient.
These are great on a loud busy jobsite. My husband and crew use them daily. I caution the non tech savvy or impatient though... The devices took us some time to figure out how all the buttons work. In my opinion, the buttons do too many things and it is complicated to remember the hold vs press and how long for each feature... Read the instructions carefully!!! Once set up and connected, these work like a dream. Very cool. Only headset type I could find that do all the functions that we needed.

Complete junk
Brand new out of the box and unit will not turn on. Fully charged both batteries and neither will turn unit on. No lights when plugged into USB either. Previous unit lasted 35 days before failing.Sena should be ashamed of such poor quality.

Excellent product
I have no idea where the 1 star reviews come from, but there is NO downside to these intercoms. The sound quality is excellent. There is zero wind noise running at 60+ mph in an open boat, No issues with quality, and everything is well built. I have used wired intercoms on a boat, and these are better. I've also used ones that cost twice as much and these are better. The only negatives are that they only come with a quick start guide which is useless. You need to download the full directions from Sena's website, and they MUST be repared each time you turn them back on, however its a simple 5 second repare.

Great headsets for SxS
I got a pair of headsets to use when we go out in the SxS. We have a RZR PRO XP Ultimate and is fairly loud when traveling at high speeds. These help to dampen the noise quite a bit, and enables us to finally be able to hear each other without yelling. The noise cancellation is so good that I called my wife while out riding alone, and she couldn't hear the RZR our road noise at all. She thought I was sitting at home - I was driving at 50mph on a busy road. We're happy with them.

Good but not great
I'm a paramotor pilot and mounted these to my helmet. To make a long story short, they work, but marginally. The noise generated by my paramotor is too much for the headset to handle. I still have a slight ringing in my ear if I fly around for an hour and take them off after landing. However, I can see these being fine if you're on a job site. They aren't fragile, but you do need to handle them carefully, especially if you attach the longer antenna. To be safe, whenever I'm done with them, I always remove the long antenna to prevent it from being broke off. Anyway, one thing you can do to help with the noise is go search for "plug phones". They are like $20 earplug headphones...sound quality isn't great, but they'll do the job. Cut the earbuds off, splice them into 1mm molex connectors, and plug them in where the speakers are currently mounted behind the ear piece foam. The speakers behind the ear foam are removable. They are connected by a tiny 1mm molex connector. If you've ever spliced electrical connectors before you should be fine. If you're a drone pilot who builds your own drones it'll be a cake walk.

Way too cumbersome
While we enjoy the communications, setting them up and binding them EVERY SINGLE time is a pain in the butt. The comma ARE very good and clear but that’s not the whole picture. Also, we’re constantly accidentally pushing buttons when turning our heads as the large side button is easily accidentally actuated. For the money we spent on these, we’re very disappointed in them. After a few short months of use, we’re already looking to acquire something different. Not a big fan of these.

1st class
I purchased 2 of these for riding in my side by side. Being able to talk to each other and also listen to FM radio or Pandora/Amazon music over a very loud machine is nice. I also use this for my other loud environments like mowing lawn or operating other loud machinery. Expensive but worth it...

Can’t get parts!
Bought 2 sets in April 2021 for landscaping crew, ear cups have been replaced multiple times because the fall out. One set broke a long range antenna and can’t find a replacement. Glitchie, hard to use and range is not what is advertised. Would not recommend or buy again for the money. Maybe should of went with tufftalk m but even more money for low quality…..great idea sena but please step up your game for real world work environments!

falling apart
After the second day of using these the foam pads on the ears literally fell off the unit. After contacting someone at sena they literally ignored my email so After buying these expect zero service parts or repairs as you'll totally be on your own. there are limited parts available for the mouthpieces. The only thing I would do to these is immediately pull out a hot glue gun, remove the ear foam and immediately glue them in as they will fall off. mine looked like they shrunk 15%, they were that loose. I have the SMH 20 motorcycle headsets so they work the same. other than that they are pretty well built. Sucks about the customer service. No replacement ear pads for sale they will wear out and when they do this lame company won't sell you new ones you'll have to build them yourself via guesswork.
