We didn't know if we'd like using these kinds of mats, or what would separate decent ones from great ones. These are decent ones, and it made sense to take the plunge and buy at this price while figuring out what we'd like longer term. These are stiff and not all that cushion-y under foot, but they are easier on the back than bare floor or a carpet runner. They don't slip around much which is vital, but at the same time, it's no trouble to lift them up to clean underneath. Even though the plastic-y feel SEEMS like they might split along the sides, after plenty of use, they haven't done that at all. I also like that they don't look industrial, even if I'm not wild about the bi-color pattern The things I'd look for when deciding on an upgrade from here would be: - Depth: (meaning, the measurement from the counter out in the room)these feel about 3-4 inches too skinny, and I have small feet - Weight: I think the weight could be a good proxy for the quality and cushy feel. I'd think an upgrade would be 1-2 pounds heavier so you'd have more thickness and stability, without getting something you'd have to practically peel off the floor or hire a crew to move when you want to clean underneath - Durability: I'd want to see reviews of a year or more of durability without showing wear before I'd pay more to replace these

These mats are great. We had another set but special paint got spilled and ruined the large one. Found these for a replacement and they are great. Good thickness, they don’t slip around unnecessarily. Comfortable to stand on.

These mats are rather thin and smaller than you would expect. They are better than nothing I guess.

Absolutely love the product. Have been using is for a long time and would buy it again. Provides good feet support, elegant look and design, easy to clean and move around. Color and patterns are as shown and non skid while use but same time easy to move around.

Perfect, easy to clean. Slide on floor a little bit, but after removed from packaging and materials warms and settles that gets better.

These are a very good quality, cushioning set of mats. The grey and with black trim goes perfect with our white cupboards and black handles. They are very complimentary with our kitchen decor. The mats stay in place and absorb my weight very well. I use the mats in a single line and they fit perfectly in the work area. The edges stay down so no tripping hazard. If you order these mats I'm sure you will be pleased as much as I am.

Affordable. Definitely helps. Not heavy duty, but you can’t expect it to be for that price. I’m 135 lbs and I can still feel the floor, but it does help.
