Comfortable and cute
I think the left handed aspect of this pencil is the sharpener. I’m old enough that I’ve gotten too used to sharpening with a right handed sharper, but it would be good for young left handed kids or people with a disability that affects their ability to turn the pencil in one direction. I really like the chunkiness of this pencil and lead. I sometimes have hand issues that affect my grip, so this is more comfortable.

Helps my left handed child write.
It’s helped, she doesn’t mind as much as she did before. Will it fix every thing no. But, it sure helps. I will order a couple more just to have on hand. I do wish they were a little cheaper and reliable.

Awesome product
My preschooler loves this pencil! I love that the lead is super strong and came with a sharpener to give it a crisp point. Great product and will definitely order again

SUPER impressed!!!!
FANTASTIC! I thought that this pencil was sort of a gimmick for lefties. But whooo was I wrong. My 8yo daughter has some dysgraphia and tends to hold onto her pencil with the "death grip", so we needed to try and find something that would help her with dexterity and finger placement. We tried like EVERY grippie known to man and 3 sided pencils. All didn't really work and she was still "death" gripping. So we tried to find something that would help her. I really have to be amazed by this pencil. She is learning the grips and where to put her fingers. As a bonus, this pencil has some white stickies with clear stickie covers. So you can write the childs' name on the white one and cover it with a clear stickie. That helps for when she'll bring it to school. the pencil comes with a sharpener, but you really don't need it. It's a little hard to tell, but to load the lead, you twist the pencil in the middle and to extend the lead you click the whole mechanism at the top. Totally easy for my child, but just thought you'd like to know.Kinda odd that this left handed pencil only comes in blue and pink while the right handed version comes in like blue, pink, green, orange. Not sure why the lefties can't get the other two colors. We're still in the 3.15 lead thickness and may go to the thinner lead a little later. Yes, the lead is kinda $$$, but it's worth it.

Expensive but does the job
Item is a good size and is very durable. The price is a little high and there is no eraser attached to the pencil. It does help my 8 year old hold her pencil more appropriately.

Worth it
A little pricey for one mechanical pencil, but it's worth it. My daughter has a much easier time holding this pen in her hand, she starts kindergarten this year and I wanted to find something that was going to be easy for her to hold and this worked. Looks like I need to start stocking up. I like that they include a couple stickers so you can stick their name on the pencil.

Made a Noticeable Difference in my 6YO Lefty
My daughter is a left handed first grader. She was having a lot of trouble getting her work done. Writing took so long for her & she ended up erasing most things to write them over. Writing was such a time consuming task & instead of getting better, she was getting slower and more frustrated. She wanted her writing to look like her right handed friends writing. I was finally able to get her to understand how special leftys are and with the help of this pencil, things have improved. She is still a slow writer but its getting better. Her teachers & I can tell when she uses her special lefty pencil and when she doesn't. This pencil has improved her writing. I have ordered another one to keep at home as well as some lead refills. I will definitely be ordering more so she will always have one of these pencils. I am so happy that this pencil has helped her so much!
