PanOxylAcne Foaming Wash 10% Benzoyl Peroxide 5.5 oz (156 g)

I can't express how many different types of face washes, skin medication, vitamin supplements, kitsch organic lotions I have tried to fix my super horrible, almost red rash-like complexion. I've been extremely frustrated with my facial complexion for years, probably since the beginning of high school, because things I tried just did not work or made things worse. I originally thought that my skin was caused by excessive hormones and couldn't be treated with a topical, so I did see a dermatologist at first and she told me to stop using Clean&Clear (super dries out your skin) and use Neutrogena Clear Pore face wash/mask (kinda dries out your skin) instead, because my skin could just be dry and irritated. Granted, it worked (along with a change in a lower hormone birth control, more exercise, eating better) and my face cleared up some, but I was still breaking out and my acne scars looked horrible.As soon as I started using PanOxyl, my skin showed improvement after a few days. I almost cried my skin looks so much better and I no longer get painful breakouts. I can't stress enough, my skin looks the best it has in something like 8 years I'm ecstatic. The size of my pores are way reduced and my skin isn't as flaky and oily-dry as it used to be. My skin complexion doesn't look like its an irritated red-rash color, I'm not getting large breakouts or small bumps in my skin on my T-zone other than when I'm stressed or on my cycle.I started off by using a small amount once every other day (about the length of the tip of my pointer finger) while still using my old Neutrogena face wash because my skin doesn't respond well to salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide washes. After a week, I moved to washing my face with just the PanOxyl once every day, and then moved to twice a day after another week. I also heavily moisturize after every use because it will dry out your skin to some degree (I use daytime CeraVe spf lotion both at night and in the morning because the nighttime lotion dries out my skin). Note: I don't wash my face with just my hands, I use a Daisi brush set and it works to exfoliate and soften my skin while not overworking it.I highly, highly recommend this product and wish I had been using it sooner to prevent the amount of acne scars I have from experimenting with products too much. Worth the price and worth the work!

Worked really well for my Bacne in less than a month. I am in my 40's and struggled for a few years with Bacne. I tried so many products and techniques. Nothing worked. I read about this on reddits skincare forum and gave it a shot.I started off using this every third day (or so) and when I had no adverse reaction I upped the use to every other day and now to every day. I only use this on my back and apply it with a Sulex cloth. The results have been fantastic. My bacne was quite bad, cystic, inflamed and often bleeding. I saw results within a week and at about a month in my back looks significantly better.This product could be a bit harsh as a face wash (Panoxl does make a 4% wash), but the 10% is great for the tougher skin on my back. I am really pleased and this is a great product.

This stuff works kinda, takes a couple weeks but DO NOT LEAVE ON SKIN FOR MORE THAN 30 seconds!!! it will burn you because it’s basically bleach. Also if you have a fake tan don’t use this bc it kinda dyes your skin lighter

Works better than anything else I've tried. Just need to moisturize after a toner to close pore's. I broke out a little at first most likely because I hadn't exfoliated when needed. But this stuff does work. Start slow if you are super sensitive. And don't over do it being anxious for instant results or you'll regret it. Not a one day fix. I'd say just incorporate into your daily face cleaning, even back, arms etc. avoiding obvious region's lol😨 and DO NOT OVER EXFOLIATE. Unless you like feeling like raw hamburger.. It's common sense, but some people think they can just scrub away our skin issues. Don't we all wish 😌😏UPDATE: since purchase of this last tube I've realized the ingredients are different. Not the same effect on skin as before and I couldn't figure out why. Why would you change PanOxyl??? I thought it was just me. This still works but not nearly as well as before. It's no different than anything else in the drug store now. Why?? And you have old ingredients list up. How misleading. 2 stars only because it's still somewhat good, but not like before, and the fact it's misrepresented, should earn zero stars. At least be honest.

I've had acne for the last 12 years. It's not incredibly intense, but I break out on my face very regularly. I have even gone on Accutane and I still break out (though my back and chest have not once since that regimen).I've been using PanOxyl for about 4 years, and even though I still break out, I definitely noticed a difference when I started using it and if I don't use it for awhile (like if I'm traveling and don't bring it) I do break out more. I have tried Proactive, prescription doxycycline, all the Neutrogena stuff, Cetaphil, Burt's Bees, St. Ives scrubs....so many different things. This stuff works better than all of it. The only thing that worked better than this product for me was hormonal birth control - I usually break out when I get my period, and it got worse when I switched to a non-hormonal birth control.I use it once a day before bed, or in the shower. I don't wear makeup anymore, so nowadays I'll skip it sometimes and things are still fine. It is drying, so be sure to use lotion on your face. I like Curel lotions with ceramides.
