Spade Drill Bits Set

This workpro drill bit for cutting into wood comes in a sturdy box and inside is a brochure leaflet, at hank you card and plastic case which contains the drill bits. The case feels well made and strong and is locked together with a red tab which you slide to the right to unlock. Upon opening the case, you are presented with 8 drill bits which is the spade type for boring into wood. The spade type drill bits feel solid and have some weight to them. Cutting into wood and they bite really well and go through with little effort. I’ve used them in both my power drill, drill driver and even an electric screwdriver with high torque and these bits cut through the wood easily with all of them. I have a variety of old spade bits knocking about the place which are either rusty or blunt. Time for a nice new set.This is quite a comprehensive set in a good array of popular sizes.They come in a nice storage case, which I will endeavour to keep them in.They appear to be well made and are nice and sharp. How long that lasts remains to be seen, but they certainly should last as long as my old no-name ones.

The most difficult bit (no pun intended) was to get into the plastic box. Once you realise you just have to press the red tab to the side , it's easy!! The bits themselves seem to be good quality, and an acceptable range of sizes. Should suit both the hobbyist and serious DIYer.

Really pleased with this set - good range of wood drill bits, they feel pretty solid, seems a really good deal for the price. Highly recommended.
