Life Saver
I purchased have duty matting to cut down for my dog crates. It was 3/4 inch thick and seemed impossible to cut through with scoring using a utility knife. I found this and it is a fantastic tool and home should have!!! Great price, heavy duty and affordable

Nice tool
I received a comment that this was an excellent tool. I have used it lightly so far, but I like it.Edit: After a month of cutting vinyl/rubber this is excellent. Tool lock is easily controlled with 1 figure. I have kept this locked in a back pant pocket without worry and I know the blade is uncompromised.

a tough cutter for any task!
this is a great product, it can cut through just about anything! the blades were sharp, I used it to cut through rope, hose, straps... the one thing that it wouldn't cut was aircraft cable, which is understandable, but i wanted to push it!

Poor quality control
Purchase this cutter for work. After a couple of days of use, I noticed that it sometimes cut cleanly, other times not so much. On close examination, the pivot bolt had been assembled incorrectly (crossthreaded), and was not securely holding the jaws in position. Compared with other sets of the same cutters owned by my employer, mine are wobbly and do not function as well. Disappointing for a tool as expensive as this one.
