Great build quality, very good performance.
This unit has very good build quality testing was done with my old S 4 Samsung, in full sun at 11.30 am and 68 degrees air temp the unit was connected to my phone at 39% state of charge. This was the result, beginning amps 1.66 which tapered to 1.28 at about 70 % state of charge. The phone was charged to the following percent's, 47% in 5 min., 53% in 10 min., 59% in 15 min., 65% in 20 min.,71% in 25 min.,76% in 30 min., and 81% in 35 min. at that point charge rate had dropped to 1.01 amps. This was with the phone turned off which is the fastest way to charge any phone. Different devices will accept different amounts of current and newer phones may accept the full amount of current this panel can deliver (2.4 amps), some of my batteries charge at 1.9 amps so results with your device may well exceed this benchmark. I built a small mount to hold the unit as shown which works well. This unit is well built and performs as designed if you are charging 2 or more devices it with deliver more current than smaller units I recommend this unit highly. 9/27/17 Update this unit and another smaller one I purchased from a different company both have a serious design flaw, when the unit is subject to shade the output drops to and stays at approximately 270 ma when the sun brightens the output will not increase unless you unplug your device and plug it in again it will stay at 270 ma no matter how bright the sun gets. So if you use it in the woods hiking it will be nearly useless, on your tent same thing if a cloud passes by, in steady bright sun it works great but if a cloud passes your screwed. It will not do this when charging a battery but any device like a phone, it will very poor design. Best way to use these is charge battery banks then use battery to charge your device, also keep in mind a shorter cable keeps amps high and resistance ( which is a problem at 5 volts) low, short cables charge faster.

Product felt pretty solid. Construction is neat
I got this product for our last camping trip this summer of 2017. Encouraged by the positive feedback, I was confident this product will serve its purpose. And it did. As long as there's ample sunlight, your devices will be charged, two at a time that is. Product felt pretty solid. Construction is neat. The carabiners will be useful while charging on the move. The only downside is the packaging of the product. It was really a challenge to slide the outer sleeve of the box. Fit is tight with no wiggle room. So I just ended up tearing the inside part of one of the end of the brown box. Good thing I don't plan on returning it. But If you plan on just testing it out and returning it, be warned. Packaging will be damaged. Or maybe somebody can figure out how to slide it out cleanly which I never did. But overall, I am very satisfied with this product.

A "must have" for those who need a constant phone charge.
We bought 3 of these to take to the Boy Scout National Jamboree. They were on the "must have" list for ease of useand constantly being able to charge our cell phones on 10,600 acre property. Attach to your backpack and charge all day then plug your phone into the battery pack to download charge overnight.

Works great for 'immediate' use. Slim and useful.
Finally, a solar charger that actually did charge! I have bought 2 others and they would not charge my phone. Even after being in hot, southern sun for 8 hours, I couldn't get a charge from them. This took 2 hours and I was able to get a full charge on my Samsung. I went from 15% to full in 3 hours of charging time. Not as speedy as a charging cable plugged in to the wall, but certainly will do in a pinch!I have some LED camping lights, emegency headlights and other peripheral camping items that all charge with USB's.The 3 panels can be moved to get the best sunlight possible for charging, but I found that it would charge even in the shade.I did notice that it 'leaked' some voltage after sitting for a few days after a full charging in the sun. I didn't use it to charging anything, but the full charge that I left it with had diminished.I would suggest that this is a 'charge and use immediately' or at least within a day or so.The entire unit is durable, wipe off nylon that fastens with velcro and has grommets to attach a carabiner to it. Clip it onto your backpack and get a charge while you ride.

Really strong solar charger for portable devices
Great solar charger for backpacking. I hung it over my pack and charged my GPS and a 26800mAh battery pack during a five hour hike. Now I've order another one for my son.

Four Stars
I've only tested it on the back deck of the house, so i have not had a chance to test it in the field. It did a good job of charging a portable Go Pro power pack in a overcast (cloudy) day.

The angle has to be perfect for the sun to shine on it
It works. The angle has to be perfect for the sun to shine on it, so you have to keep moving it to follow the sun to work well.
