After reading some of the reviews I was a little leery about ordering this item but figured I'd take a chance. Gave this item to my son for his birthday. He took it out of the box and it looked just like the picture. He put the batteries in - nothing happened. No arm waving. Tried changing the batteries. Nothing. Tried turning the batteries. Still nothing. At this point I was ready to cry. These were the same problems others had described in their reviews. Being pretty adapt at mechanics, my son moved the arm, something inside clicked, and the arm started waving. It's been going ever since. I love seeing it sit on it's little red pillow with the big smile on his face! Every time his arm waves, I imagine him throwing good luck, good energy, or bunches of positivity out into the room. We had a slow start, but all good now and we love this little guy!

I bought this as a birthday gift for my husband, and we both love it. I looked at every single lucky cat on Amazon before ordering this. This seemed to be the best, judging from reviews and actual pictures sent in by reviewers. Many looked good as advertised, but they looked cheap from the review pictures. This one has a beautiful finish, and the waving arm worked immediately. The ceramic looks polished and elegant. I just love it.

I have dreamed of getting one years. I saw. This cutie and I knew I had to get her. She is perfect, so cute with her little pillow and the expression on her face.I love the way the arm waves at you. She is everything I wanted and a beautiful little ceramic kitty

Great detail. Got almost 5 weeks out of 2 AA batteries. Virtually useless, but the little rig sure makes clients (and lill' mama) happy!

Who has time to run around returning items? The box looked nice, but inside was a cat figurine with no battery and no battery cover — how are we supposed to use it? Why does the buyer have to return it when it was clearly the seller’s fault? Very inconvenient and a waste of time.

Colors are beautiful & very well made. I’m ordering another one for granddaughter.
