Pearl river is one of the best, if not THE best soy sauce for Chinese cooking.They have a normal super light sauce which is good, but this golden label tastes even better.Pair it with the Pearl River Mushroom Dark Soy Sauce and your family will ask you how you got so good at cooking.Worth upgrading to this soy sauce.

I first had this soy sauce over 30 years ago in France, when I found it in an Asian food store. It was so delicious that I could almost have drunk it. I didn't see it anywhere for over 30 years. But it was so good that I remembered it all this time, and I am very pleased to have finally found it again. It's as excellent as I recalled.

I have not used yet. I purchased because it said it came in a plastic bottle. The packaging on bottle said plastic but it is glass. I have lost strength in myhands and have dropped and broken soy sauce bottles, pickle jars and other glass products. It is toomuch trouble to return.

I’ve been cooking Chinese food, and using Pearl River Products, for ages, but this is the first time I’ve tried the Gold Label soy sauce. Glad I did, as it is better and more dynamic tasting than their regular light soy sauce.As with all Pearl River products, I hate the lids. They’re cheap and soy sauce gets all over the lip and lid cap.

You can get better soy sauce for more money, but for everyday use this is the best Chinese soy sauce. Nice rich flavor with malty fullness that will make your dishes shine.

Cannot explain the exquisite details or nuances of it's flavor but this soy sauce is very good. You owe it to yourself and your food to try it once at least.
