SpeckProducts Candyshell Grip Cell Phone Case for Moto Z Play, Black/Black, 85756-1050

This case for the Moto Z Play has good ridges on the side and back that give you an excellent grip on the phone. I know that its not going to slip out of my hand. The button operation works without issue and all openings for the camera, microphones, etc. are lined up properly.My only issue with this case is that it is a hard plastic with a shiny surface. I would have liked just a bit more rubbery feel, with a matt finish. It really shows fingerprints.I feel this case is sturdy enough to give a decent amount of corner protection to my phone, but not as much as some of the dual-layer cases would give. The inside is a more softer rubber feeling so I know it will absorb some impact.As far as grip-ability, this is the best case I've tried. I just don't care for the shiny appearance.

I love this case. It is sturdy and the ridges help to grip the phone. It also has a hole for the headphone jack. Looks great!

It's a great product. I wish the buttons on the side were exposed. I had a hard time doing screen shots because the buttons were hidden under the thick plastic. But other than that this is a great product.

Take off the original back held on magnetically and put this on. Very grippy, everything nice and accessible, seems very protective and adds very little bulk since you take the original back off. If I'd had this to begin with my phone wouldn't have had those scarring accidents. It would be nice to have other colors available, but the protection is there.

I used to use a speck candyshell case and it slipped out of my hand like a bar of soap more times than I can remember. Luckily it's built tough enough to handle some serious abuse. This case solves all the butterfinger problems I had with that one. Of course, I still manage to drop it because I'm such a klutz, but even throwing this thing violently into asphalt in an attempt to catch it barely put a knick in the corner of it. It will get a slightly scuffed effect over the glossy finish from normal use, but I still think it looks great, and if your priority is to protect your investment rather than bedazzle it with pretty, shiny decorations, this case is for you.

Fits perfect and charger and aux fits in good without having to take of the case. Came 3 days earlier than expected.

This case has already been put to the test and it has been very durable. It doesn’t slip at all which is why I bought it

I had this cover in the pale pink for my Moto Play Z and just wanted a fresh replacement. Drops I have never had a problem and worth the money. Wish Speck still had a few other colors for 2yr old androids (Moto) not just latest ones.

This is my second unit. First one worked hard to save my phone when I was clumsy. Still have it but it is chipped and cracked while my phone is all good.
