Are a direct replacement to the old gas struts
Appears to be quality product for the money. Easy to install and is currently working; time will tell how long these last. These struts are going on a fishing pontoon boat to hold the lid open on the live well.

Works great.
I bought this to replace some failing struts on our Leer truck bed topper. They did the trick and are stronger than I remember the old ones ever were. We bought the truck and cap used, so that could be true.It's really nice to not have the cap knock me in the head every time I use it now.

Shock Support Struts for A.R.E. Truck cap
Shock strut are great, they came pretty quick and the price was right on target. They fit perfectly. I have an A.R.E. Cap on my truck and have been needing new shock support for a while, but didn’t have any luck finding new ones. These hit the spot and am very pleased with this purchase.

these were the correct length and snaped rite on but were a different diameter as the original.

Works on Leer snug tops.
Fit my Leer snug top perfectly on the 10mm pins. Holds the glass back door up with no problems.

Replacement struts for camper shell.
These struts are to replace the rear hatch door on my Impulse camper shell. They are probably the third or fourth replacement as they only last about 5 years or so. These come unassembled and you need to thread the end caps on the struts (pic 5). They were a reasonable price. The installation was easy, just pop out the old ones, thread on the caps, pop in the new ones. It came with instructions but I didn't use them. The hatch opens easily and stays up like it is supposed to.
