I bought these gloves for yardwork and tree work as my old pair is beginning to show wear and tear. I also got them to walk the dogs in the morning chill when I really don't need a mitten for warmth, but would like a bit of coverage for my hands. They work well for this too.They are a bit stiff but none of the softening ideas appeal to me and I don't want to add oil to them so I'll just have to wear them several hours a day to get them more pliable.I have small hands and decided to go with the medium and this works well. They slip on and off easily which is the main concern, struggling with gloves is not my thing. Thick enough for my needs, sewn well, proportions seem reasonable and I like the black color. This is the first time I have owned a pair of black work gloves. Highly recommended, price is right and I will purchase in the future.

It took me a while to find leather gloves that fit properly and would work well for outside jobs. They are comfortable and I can grip things pretty easily, even with my small hands.

I destroy a lot of gloves in my job, and when I saw how thin these were, I was sure they wouldn't last long. I was wrong. They just keep going and going, with no wearing or stitch fraying. My only complaint is that they aren't too comfortable, but that's a small consideration, when they are made so well.

Great work/garden gloves

The entire lower part of the palm of the right glove totally fell apart after a day of use. I had high hopes for these, but don't plan on doing any real work with them, as the material begins to fall apart after a few hours. I'm not confident these crappy gloves were even leather.

I got the size small, even though I normally wear medium for nitrile and dish-washing gloves. The size small is quite loose on me. They seem quite sturdy and well made though. Gloves are thicker leather yet soft.

Welding is a fun but dangerous process mainly because of the heat of the metal, enough to burn your skin. These gloves, however, solve the heat problem completely with their thick nature.The gloves are so effective at relieving my hands of the heat that I can literally touch the base metal while I am welding which makes the process so much safer. They do not so think that they restrict movement which makes them perfect for not only welding but also for fabrication which includes drawing and touching things. This plus the fact that they do not harden too much aster touching really hot things which is much better than most heat-resistant gloves out there.As there are positives, there are negatives. With these gloves, however, there is only one real limitation that I would even call mere nitpicking. that is that they feel pretty rough on the hands over some time as well as the fact that they leave black cloth on the hands ultimately staining your hands until you wash them thoroughly. These defects are insignificant compared to their potential which makes them perfect.Overall, these gloves are perfect for welding as long as you don't mind rough cloth and black cloth on the hands. They will keep the heat off your hands until you begin to feel it which gives you plenty of time to take them off to cool down. I recommend these gloves to anyone who deals with heat and holding sharp and rough things.

I currently work outside doing road work and I have the issue of gloves not lasting more than a month at best, usually. I bought these gloves Months and months ago and theyre still going strong with no rips or tears. These are high quality gloves and they fit right. You can work in them well and not have to take them off to do tedious things like tightening a nut with your fingertips. They are thick and they are tuff. They will protect your hands. These gloves work. I highly recommend these.

They are great quality but too big for my hands :( i have small hands so if yours are average or bigger then these would fit nice I’m sure
