Q: How loud is this? I got the S9 and I am returning it bc it is too loud.

If you put your phone on vibrate on a hard surface and have someone call you to the same rhythm the pumps go, that’s about how loud it is. For the convenience the pump gives me, the sound means nothing.

Q: Is there an option for different flange sizes?

There are inserts sold separately to size up/down the flange

Q: If I buy two of them will they sync?

No. They operate completely separately. You have to push the buttons at the same time to get them to shut off at the same time (auto shut off at 30 min).
