If you've ever tried and can taste the difference between European butter versus common American box store brands, these are for you butter lovers. Quality! Will buy again.The fantastic butter taste can only be experienced in person. If you don't mind at times some pockets of butter crumbles sliding down your throat and sticking, then do buy these. If you have ever eaten seafood with clarified butter or maybe you put too much on your pancakes or theater popcorn and so the excess kind of sticks in your throat? That's how it feels at times. A serving is 2 cookies. I tend to break them to smaller pieces and eating slowly. I bought the original flavor. Noting that this says "oat cookies" actually means you do enjoy a slight, again SLIGHT oatmeal like cookie texture. Overall it chews like shortbread with oats rather than a typical oat cookie.On delivery the cookies all but one were intact and the expiry date is in Sept 2020, which is absolutely great! Not much time soon and I'll definitely finish them by then.I will buy these again, but I prefer Grace's Irish shortbread even if it crumbles in transit and in person to a powder.

Very disappointed. Took pictures of 4 boxes of crumbled cookies. Could not serve to guest. Ordered many times and taken advantage of my kind purchases this time. There is no way the visible crumbled cookies in all 4 packages wasn't noticed. I deserve my money back or whole cookies. I've never complained ever but this was upsetting. I'll never order anything from ya'll ever again. Cruel and not fair.

We ordered these cookies to share with my daughter's class for a presentation on Ireland. They were a hit with her second grade class. I liked that they weren't too sweet, yet just sweet enough to be dessert. The reason I did not give a 5 star is because they were very dry and crumbly.

These taste really good, however, they are really, really dry and crumbly. My first order arrived with all cookies broken. Amazon was kind enough (by the way, I couldn't possibly say enough about how great Amazon's customer service is!) to send me a replacement, but that arrived in worse condition than the first! It's unfortunate because the taste is delicious, that's why I didn't give it even fewer stars, and maybe I was just unlucky twice, but hey, I gotta tell it like it is...

I discovered these a few years ago when I was in Ireland. I also remembered buying them in London and having a few with strong tea... They're perfect for dunking. Just crisp enough and buttery, without being a shortbread. Although a bit expensive they are more than worth it because unlike US packaged cookies, no strange chemical aftertaste...a problem with extended shelf lives so many companies fall into.

I looked forward to Steel cut Oatmeal cookie flavor but instead it tastes like a rustic Irish butter cookie. Really not similar to an Oatmeal cookie flavor, I wanted large oatmeal grain with butter and brown sugar flavor -

for the price and size i was expecting something better.The cookies when i did receive it was in pieces and the package was not damage.i don,t no why the cookies was in pieces but i won,t be buy this again.
