Q: We have two 'strips' connected and the first strip has stopped working. The second still works so electricity is still getting through. Any ideas?

They are on separate cables if you look at them closely so the positive feed will still run to the next set of lights, unaffected by the non functioning set. I have the same problem. If you shake the bulbs, some of mine are full of water. I have 4 sets, I'm loath to order more however I think I will have to unfortunately.

Q: Is the whole product ip65 rated? says ip65 rubber cable, but doesn't mention overall performance of the lights

The cable and bulbs are IP65 but the entire assembly won’t be because of the 3 pin plug, this needs to be connected to your power socket that is within weatherproof enclosure or indoors

There are 3 seperate cables, each about 4-5mm thick.
