Great alternative to tape
This is a very good light at a very good price. I have my dartboard in a carpeted room. Placing tape on the carpet was not going to happen. The laser line this light has is absolutely perfect. It adjusts to the correct distance and doesn't move.

Cool device
I haven’t ever played darts with a laser line, but felt that it would be a cool gadget to have. I shopped around and read reviews, and this one seemed like a good value. The laser light is strong, even in a well lit room, and is easily set to the distance that you want, and accurately stays there. I don’t know about battery life yet, but you should know that there are led lights that kind of slide out, and if you don’t fully turn the device off, the leds might be left on and will drain your battery.

Line fades into oblivion after a few minutes.
Product looks nice. Instructions are clear. This unit is dead after a few weeks. When you turn it on the line is bright, but then fades into the abyss within a few minutes (about three). Very disappointing.
