Fits into the harness and works.
This is a very good quality product. The wires are not a small gauge and are easy to tap into.I purchased this to add some light to my truck as I didn't want' to tap into the trucks wiring harness. It's works very well for this. I'm sure it would be great for a 5th wheel or Goosneck hookup as intended.I would recommend this over the overpriced, Name branded ones as the price is great and the quality is very good too.

Fifth Wheel
Bought this product so my trailer brake cable wouldn't be rubbing my tailgate on my Fifth wheel, i installed it on a 2013 ram 3500, it was a tight fit but it works great, and no more worrying about the tailgate.

Looks really good
Ordered this to install in my 2006 Silverado to allow for a separate connection inside the bed for my 5th wheel. I typically order Hopkins products for this, but the price and reviews were alluring to me. On first glance this is a well made part. The connections and wiring are all crisp and clean. I did some test fittings on the truck and everything is snug and tight. I can't get prove all the connections work, but first impression is good. This thing connects off your wiring harness by the rear bumper. The short wire goes to your factory plug (which is best re-located to the bumper). From there you have about 6 feet to place the 5th wheel connector somewhere in the bed. In these trucks there is a ton of access, so you shouldn't have any issues.Only minor gripe is I don't like how the flap only opens about 110 degrees. They do this to create a catch, but if I'm reaching into the bed upside down I can see this being a bit annoying to access. The hopkins products open the full 180 degrees.
