I live on a private lane in a very rural area, it's "dirt", neighbors and delivery vehicles drive by my house way too fast, I bought a speed bump ahead sign and this speed bump and installed by driving random concrete anchor screws in with a hammer, the screws are about 6 to 8 inches long, the ground is hard on the lane because of all the sand on top washing away over the years to the hard stuff, it's a lot of chert rock and so forth, hard pack sand, I'm an hour below the georgia fall line,it is holding well, not only can you use the 3 holes in the middle for bolts but on the edges you will see low spots in the rubber, on those spots you can easily drive something through,or screw something through, this speed bump works and it's not over the top like some speed bumps you think you slowed down enough and next thing you know it feels like a scene from 2012.

I bought 6 of these for my job-site to control traffic at the entrance. I did not know how the 2-1/2" would do under the Semi's, concrete trucks and heavy haulers that pass through. I could not be happier with the product. The overall speed bump it very durable and works quite well. The hardware "Fasteners" that come with it are complete junk. Save yourself some time and buy some good fasteners to pair with these speed bumps. Great product! 4/5

I kept these in a warehouse for a couple weeks until they could be installed. In a closed environment, they stunk up the room. Smelled like a petroleum refinery. But once installed and after a couple days, no smell. These speed bumps work well, but the depth is a bit more then expected. Even 4x4s need to slow down over these humps or the driver will hit his head against the roof of the vehicle.

Easy to install

We own a driveway with two homes behind us that have legal "right of way". Their drives are gravel and ours is asphalt. They tend to punch the gas when they hit our paved portion disregarding signs reading "10 MPH" and "slow, children and pets". This speed bump helps immensely. We didn't want to bore holes in the asphalt, so they just lay there. They do move an inch or two every day and need to be realign. May screw down later or this winter but at this point not much of an issue. Happy with purchase, shipping and condition upon delivery.

This is a good product. My only suggestion is to get longer bolts for securing to the ground.

I'm using these at a mini storage to protect my temp power. The first ones I bought didn't last. The design provides better integrity than the model with a hinged open top. I've had these in place for a month and they are not showing any sign of failure.

These do the trick with slowing down traffic, however, we just installed these into our vacation neighborhood in the beginning of May ‘24 and they are showing significant wear and tear, pieces coming off the bumps, etc. I’m hoping we get at least 2 seasons out of them.
