Q: Can this be left on for 24hrs?

I use them in a bedroom so have never left them on for an extended period of time.

Q: Is the remote control controlling the light bulbs or the fixture electronics? Could I put this bulb in a different fixture and remote control it?

No, the bulb and remote control were custom-made

Q: What’s the measurements?

The top of the shade is about 5" The bottom is about 10" but the bottom designed to be smaller if you want. It is hard to describe. You have to see it.

Q: I lost one of the black plastic nuts (that hold the unit to the wall plate)...where can I get a replacement nut?

It's called an acorn nut. It might be metric size M5 or it could be fractional 8-32. take one to the hardware store
