You have been warned; now you can begin to relish in all the attention. I am in no way any type of seamstress, but have basic knowledge of how to hem pants. I happen to work in a surgery center and dress code is those lovely bouffant disposable bonnets.One day one of the girls was wearing a cute snowflake cap and was dying to know where she got it from. Said she paid around $20 a a scrub uniform shop online. Myself being far to cheap for a $20 hat, set out to make one myself. All the local Walmarts where out of stock of this pattern but I still got 2 fabrics while there. One was a yard of cheap .90 stuff to practice with and the other was $4.00/yd in an awesome spring pattern. Seriously, get the cheap stuff and practice. First hat was alright but needed alot of improvement, my second hat rocked! It was the one I wore proudly to work the next day. I had everyone wanting one! Once they found out I made it, the request started rolling in. Its a great way to add individuality to a standard uniform and a few bucks in your pocket.
