not surprised about the good quality!
Update 08/31/2023:Well, after over a lil bit a year, i've been experiencing some disconnecting issues from either side of the earphones, but coincidentally, it only happens in the subway, i presume that there might be some similar frequencies lying around?... at most, it happens a couple of times in a day, annoying but passable... but this may not be because of the earphones, it may be my phone as well (Samsung A53... DON'T BUY IT!).BUT, moving on o the positive side: subway is a really loud place and these guys helped quite a bit into diminishing the amount of noise... like 90%, i love it! i mean, when you take them off you really feel your eardrums getting the full sound of the subway and the wheel screeching... oh my god i wouldn't be able to live without these!... if you run out of battery on your phone, rest assure that AT LEAST you'll have noise cancelling and have a smooth commute because the older you get, the quieter things must be hahahaah.I'm really hoping to buy the new Elite 10 so i can give you my thoughts and this process again... it's quite important to have an unbiased opinion from a guy who really have a delicate ear and also audiophile... speaking of which, this may not be perfect for audiophiles because mid-lo's are kinda absent and eq'ing it it's quite annoying...everything else, i stand on every other review i posted previously. Thank you!Update 12/06/2022:I just wanna say, battery is a champ! in both case and earpieces... awesome! Sound isolation could be a potential lack of attention to other stuff or situations, if people call you from afar (even if they're only in the other room) you wouldn't be able to hear it... children tantrums, dog's barking, other people talking, backgrouns noise from the street (whether you are on the street or nearby within a building), all these situations makes the earpieces a champ! it seriously diminishes the amount of ambient noise, you don't even have to put the music loud... and if you're not using it, you can use it to walk through the street in peace, sometimes one needs to do that... if you hear background noise it would only be like 5 or 10% tops... for the quality of sound, if someone tells me "it sounds too -insert adjective" let me tell you this: you need to EQ it for some genres... I can't thank enough to Jabra for doing such a good job with this product! However, just remember to check the battery life, it FINALLY happened that i was low in charge in the case (but thank god the earpieces were 100%!)... i'm happy, that's it! it's amazing how a simple thing can change you.Update 06/10/2022:Me again... well, it happened again! (it's becoming a tradition xD )... for 2 straight weeks i haven't charged the case (because i forgot!) and my question is: WHY this thing last so long? it's kinda "awkward" because i'm not use to things last in terms of battery life!... send help! xD but for real now, i didn't expect to have 52% on battery on the case and 100% on the earpieces!I saw some new reviews again, and seriously, how is it possible that they receive (potentially) defective devices? (if you can call it that)... i'm presuming that they're operating it in the wrong way (i guess?). Oh and i almost forgot: i started using it more on android with a Samsung A53 5G... weirdly enough, the sound quality improved! middle-lows and middle-highs are more noticeable and balanced for me! Well i also gotta admit that i used my airpods on my iphone kinda regularly because as you everyone knows (even better than me) that is HARD to move from one phone to another (including personal data, banking, etc.) specially if both phones are from different OSes....Anywho anyhow... the point of this update is: WOW! get it NOW!... with every track it feels warm and cozy. i love it!ORIGINAL:Well, my journey with Jabra started with https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005FVNHBI this one that i bought back in 2011, they lasted 3 or 4 years until one of the earpiece sides broke because of too much sweat? i don't know but i regret the day i couldn't use it anymore because it had such a good sound that made me feel that i was at a nightclub... Then i found these little guys and to be completely honest i was kinda hesitant to buy it then i've got it... all fear were gone in a matter of minutes! i've downloaded the app for android and iphone to test it on both and man... just beyond everything i've expected!Battery, sound, isolation... it's everything i've ever wanted on a headset! i mean, it doesn't fit in my mind how it's possible that such a good product can be on this price range!I've read some of the 1 and 3 star reviews and i haven't had a single issue with them.... when i first paired them to my devices i couldn't get them to work both sides but then i put it on the case and take them out at the same time and problem solved!... People just hear me normally on calls, i hear them well as well... ambient isolation is SO GOOD that it reaches 98%, meaning that u hear the world almost nothing when u're listening music, and you don't need it to be too loud. I don't have it too loud because i've EQ'd the headset with the app and man... they're the best i've got! (apple airpods pro and regular ones are nothing next to these! i even regret not having knowledge of the existence of this item earlier). So far i haven't found any single bad thing on it yet... as a matter of fact, last week i went to a long trip and i seriously forgot to charge the case and i felt truly sad because i forgot it XD but then i've opened the case and i saw the yellow light and when i've opened the app it showed 38% on the case and the earpieces 100%... imagine how my face lightened up! it truly made my trip...people really need to follow up instructions.... and don't forget to download the app!

Worth a look but still Room for improvement
I’ve been waiting a couple months to give these a try before sharing a review, but I can honestly say that I am impressed. After trying some other brands that hurt my ears so bad I returned them, these Jabra Elite 85t are comfortable enough to stay in place all day, provided you can keep the battery charged. With moderate activity I can feel them start to slip out of my ear, so they are probably not the pair you want to take running. The noise cancellation (ANC) and HearThrough modes are novel features, but honestly I don’t spend the time switching through them and rather keep them off to conserve the battery. What I want is a hearing aid that can amplify the ambient sound around me, but also let me hear the audio from all my devices or act like ear plugs. There is not that much amplification from the HearThrough mode unless there is nothing else playing through the speakers and you are right in front of the source you are trying to hear. ANC works to dull the sound around you if the speakers are muted, but with music playing there’s not much difference since the volume drowns out any other noise. The battery life is somewhere in the 5-7 range, but be warned that the last hour you will be interrupted every 15 minutes that the buds need to be recharged. It hasn’t been a problem to find time to return them to the case at some point during the day, but expect to plan your day around charging at least once in the middle. Having a wireless charging pad has made charging effortless. Now for the pet peeves that are just a fact of life with these buds. The right bud is the primary bud and in fact, the left bud can not be used without using both buds. You might think you can get five hours out of one ear and then switch to the other ear for another five hours, but that is not the case. This may not affect you, but seems like an odd feature. The next peeve deals with pairing and connectivity. You might have read some reviews that discuss issues with connectivity, but you should know that Bluetooth pairing has been a straightforward easy experience to get up and running out of the box. My issue is that the specification states that the buds can be paired with up to 8 devices, but only 2 at any given time. I haven’t tried that many since after 3 devices I could tell it was going to be confusing to figure out which device they are connected with. If the buds are connected to 2 devices and you want to use them with a third, you must first manually disconnect or turn off Bluetooth on one of those first two devices before the buds will connect to the third. You may think this is a connectivity error but really they will only do what you tell them and they will prefer to connect to the last connected devices. Once you are connected to two devices, because you can only connect to two devices, you might think the buds have sort of a built in mixer where you can hear audio from both sources at the same time. Again, don’t be disappointed, but only one device can actively be sending an audio signal to the buds. You can not have music playing on one device and watch a movie on the other. You must stop all audio transmissions from one device before it will allow the second audio to play on the buds. Both devices are connected, but only audio from one device can be played at a time. This seemed to not affect in coming calls ringing from a phone though. I believe the makes the phone take priority of the audio stream. This might actually be a limitation of the Bluetooth protocol, but again different than I expected.Well, there you have it! These are the top issues I’ve found with these buds, but I’m still happy with them enough to use everyday. Also, no problems with sound quality and the full range is good enough for casual listeners.
