Like the alignment guides, the measurements showing putting distance, realistic surface.Has definitely helped improve my alignment and setup. If you're having difficulty with your consistency I really believe this mat can help you. Side rails where the putting hole is located would be a nice improvement similar to the backstop provided. I like putting more than a few balls at a time before clearing the cup area so the side rails help keep the balls from rolling away. I made my own.
