I love this, it's perfect as a high quality comfortable sofa protector. Sooo much better than slip covers or fake furs that slip. This doesn't slip and there was only a hint of a smell, since it's a natural animal fiber, but not noticeable after a day or two. It's easy to take off and shake if it's been sat on for a long time to restore its beautiful natural fullness. I bought the light brown which looks great on my white sofa. GREAT price ($79)

Great size and plushy quality.I have many pelts and this is a great colorful addition- it is very thick and held up to a delicate wash in the machine and air dry (probably not recommended care but it’s survival of the fittest in this house). If you want something whimsical and nice , I highly recommend! It can be a throw, a great layer rug, or stand alone -many ways to use and enjoy !

I give the rug a five-star rating because it deserves it. I was really surprised at how good the rug is right out of the package (it was packaged very well too). Because this rug is relatively less expensive than many other listings of natural sheepskin rugs on Amazon and elsewhere, I wasn't expecting much. But it turned out to be thick, soft, fluffy, plush, and luxurious all over. Many years ago I have purchased another natural sheepskin rug from Amazon described to be of the same size as this one (I got the 2'*6' one), but this one is definitely much bigger in its actual size. It's hands-down a high-quality, high-value purchase if you want a nice natural sheepskin rug. I also love how beautiful the natural creamy white color is.Now, the story takes a turn. It does have a "natural and organic" smell as mentioned in many other reviews. The smell itself is not repulsive. I don't know how long it will take for it to air out (my last rug never really got rid of the smell, but it was not a big issue since I put it on the floor. I lost the rug in cross country moving.) But now I have a cat! My cat just couldn't resist tackling the rug the moment it was laid on the floor. She probably imagined herself to be a lion or a tiger who just caught some big prey. She couldn't stop kicking and biting the rug, trying to tear it apart. She came back to it a few times after breaks already. And this is day one. I am guessing this smell does stimulate some instinctive call from her genes. In a few short moments, she managed to tear off quite some fur from the edge of the rug... The rug still looks fine since I just received it today. I am not sure how long it will last with my cat though. Before ordering, I thought about this possibility and googled whether cats and sheepskin rugs can co-exist. I got many cute picture results showing angelic cats resting contently in the long and soft sheepskin fur, looking totally adorable and peaceful. Many articles say that natural rugs calm our fluffy friends down. Well, I told myself "perfect!" Win-win for me and my cat. Now, here we are, the beginning of my cat's conquest of an imaginary lamb (which was a real lamb.) I cannot even return it since it has already been damaged by my cat... In the worst case, this rug would become a really expensive cat entertainment piece that would eventually be destroyed....:((( I even started feeling guilty for buying animal-based products - but then comforted myself by remembering reading somewhere that cow and lamb leather goods come from animals that would be slaughtered for meat consumption anyways. My cat is already eating canned food containing Australian lamb, etc, etc. Really need to stop the thoughts.So this is my review. Beautiful rug of excellent quality and unbeatable value, unless you have a cat(s).

Next to my bed, it’s the first and last thing I feel under my feet in a day. Soft and comforting, its a wonderful addition to the room. Beautiful natural color and quality craftsmanship. I didn’t notice any particular smells, but I did leave it outside in a dry area for a day or two before putting it in the room.

This throw rug looks great on my wingback chair. I purchased a blow dryer from Amazon to fluff it up per the directions from inside the box. Most of the fur is nice and white. But there are two areas that are a little off color, as in a light yellow cream color. There is no staining on the back side of the pelt. So I haven't a clue why it is and it is the only reason I took a star off.When you enter my place, the first thing you see before turning on the lights is the contrast of this white pelt against my gray chair. It makes it hard for me to move the chair. The price point was very, very good, and it arrived quickly. I've looked for two years for the vendor of the curly haired pelt to restock and just got tired of waiting and purchased this one instead. I am most definitely pleased.By the way, they send you a kit to test that this is real. The skin side feels real but I did not pull off fibers to make sure this was not synthetic. It does not look synthetic.

Absolutely beautiful authentic sheep fur, so white and fluffy and soft. I bought the 6x2 and laid it down on my Brazilian cherry wood floor right next to my bed so it’s the first thing my feet touch in the morning, exactly what I wanted 👍🙃Btw, lots of other reviews complain about a strong bad smell but mine came with a fairly light smell to it so I just threw it in the dryer with about 5 scented dryer sheets and it worked perfectly

I purchased the hot pink rug from this same company. That rug had absolutely no smell and is beautiful. This review is for the cream/off white rug which smelled absolutely awful. It gave me an instant headache. It smelled like a dead skunk! However, the rug is beautiful. Beware of the smell!

This 2 x 6ft runner is perfect for the side of the bed in my guest room. It is plush and luxurious and the price was reasonable.

The sheep skin Riggs are a good 6ft long and at its widest about 3 1/2 ft. Very nice and soft fur, lovely on bare feet. I bout a second one to match and I’m very pleased with the consistency. I do recommend.

Good size and thickness, well received as a gift. Comfortable and nice neutral colour to go with any decor. Cozy on lazy boy by the fireplace for winter months.This is also good for someone recovering from surgery or illness. Keeps their skin protected from pressure sores.

This rug is beautiful and exactly as described. I've hung it out on my clothesline in the fresh air, as per seller instructions. It's been airing out for the second day and already smells less like Lil' Bo Beep's sidekick. It will take several days before I bring it inside, which is to be expected, and reassures me that it's the genuine article. It arrived folded over in half, vacuum packed, bubble wrapped and boxed. So, the pelt isn't wrinkled and the sheep wool/hair lays all in one direction with no kinks or issues in appearance. It's a creamy white, thick, luxurious and a substantial width and length. It will easily cover the area along my bedside, so I can step into its cozy pile on a cold Canadian morning. Can't wait! Thank you, LLB.
