I am questioning myself as to WHY DIDN'T I BUY THIS SOONER. It is fantastic.

No problem keeping this hoop twirling but...This seems cumbersome for me. I am 5'6" 135 lb. And the thickness of this hula hoop- the tube itself- is thicker than most. The foam is nice and the weight is ok. I also have the "fitpop" hoop that is made of light metal and it is really a good size and more the thickness of a traditional hoop and it also has the foam but is about 1 lb. lighter.My husband and I both prefer the thickness of the smaller sized tubing of the metal hoop best a little more weight in the hoop would be my preference.If you desire the thicker hoop then this would one would be ok. the foam is good but the plastic connectors do not seem to be as durable as the metal one. We used this hoop a few times and decided to return it and exchange for the metal hoop.

This is a nice hula hoop. The weight of it can sometimes bang into my weak gut a little too hard, but that's part of the reason I got this :)The assembly was a bit harder than I was expecting. I had to overexert myself to get the clips to catch, and I really had to force 2 of the clips together. There's a bit too much padding around the clips and connectors, and you can't slide the padding away from one... you just have to brute force the connection until you get it. The connections are keyed, so I guess if you are struggling with that, you might want to make sure the parts are in correctly before trying to force/use your whole body weight to get it in.With the amount of effort this took me to put together, I do not think this is really something that is portable, in that it is easy to disconnect but difficult to connect back together. You could maybe cut off some of the excess force, but you might ruin it in the process.

Perfect weight and size for starters

I will be sending this item back due to it won't stay together.

Little heavy but works fine. I got it for a friend of mine , she is happy with the results
