I had to return a similar weighted heat pad by same Comfytemp because the control did not work at all .This one has a simple control auto shut off - low med or high and it works!The color is beautiful baby blue and the weighted option feels wonderful on sore aches and pains. Great value . Love it !

I'd love the weight and the quality of the fabric it's so soft and comfy also the heat level is just right it gets nice and hot but not too hot on the highest level I must have

The tale of this product is not so much about the product itself (which is fantastic for cold feet in bed) but about the customer service after the sale and Amazon's return window. So let's talk about the product itself...great design and weight. I just wish that it stayed on longer than 2 hours or that this limited time could be easily hacked for this boomer. Otherwise, it's great in bed providing for a really warm area for cold feet.Unfortunately, my first pad stopped working after about 2 weeks use. I put it aside and then miraculously it started working again. But, after about 3 weeks of being that hot spot, it died...never to resurrect.My Amazon return window was over. So I contacted the company itself. A very pleasant woman, Joanna, answered my concerns and after a few back and forths, I now have another pad that is functioning as promised. This companies customer service is excellent.For this boomer, I will say that when I purchase a product, I look for support after the fact (and, after closing of Amazon's window). The five stars I gave this product is a combo for product and customer service.

I gave it 1 star because I got the heating pad on January 31, 2022. Well today (March 14,2022) it decided it didn’t want to turn on at all. That’s not even 2 months since I got this. I can’t return it because it said the last day of returns on it was March the second. I don’t know if I got a defective heating pad or what but, to have it not even 2 months for it to go kaput? Something is definitely wrong with this. I got this because I have a bad back and using a heating pad helps me to ease the already damaged muscle and bones enough that I can actually fall asleep. Seeing as I don’t have the extra funds right now to get a new one, this definitely sucks for me. So, even though, it was good while it lasted, I have to give 1 star because the good didn’t even last 2 months. The bad part is I was actually excited to get this. Makes me sad I even bought it in the first place. $45 down the drain just like that.

I prefer a heavy weight moist heating pad. The one we had for many years "Drive Medical Design" heating pad is very difficult to find or they don't make them anymore. It was a high quality, large, moist heat and it got really HOT if you needed that kind of heat. I ordered several heating pads that seem to fit that description, but did not so I returned them on Amazon. So I decided to try this one. It is not moist heat, but it nice and heavy and heats up really nice. A little slow at heating in the beginning, but we are now use to it and it's a keeper. The heavy weight is important for us so we can actually feel the heat on our bodies. I'm hoping that it lasts for years.

I was looking for a large heating pad that was soft, well weighted and with a simple controller (heating for at least 90 minutes or more) without shutting off or turning down it’s temperature automatically.It fits all my specs. It’s got three 3 settings (high, med, low) and all of them shut off at 120 minutes without lowering the temperature automatically. I set it at high heat the first time I used it and sure enough it kept itself there the entire 120 minutes (while also dispersing heat evenly throughout the pad) before shutting off automatically. It’s definitely soft, nicely weighted & large enough (17X30 size) to sit perfectly draped over my shoulder down one side of my neck to the middle of my back or caped over both shoulders hitting down to just beneath my shoulder blades.I’m not sure how long to expect any heating pad to last, so longevity isn’t at the top of my list. What I’m looking for rather is the quality of functionality while the pad is still operable without loss of the safety shut off.

At first I didn’t think the larger (17x30) weighted heating pad wasn't even getting warm after having it on for at least a hour or so.BUT after plugging it back in,it’s been working amazingly well.Just as good as the smaller one,if not better plus it covers more,obviously.My dog and I can share lol.She approves 110%. I’m so glad I got this. These are still the best heating pads I’ve ever owned. This one came in right after my period unfortunately but will be soo nice next month.I had to go to the ER for a kidney issue last week and came home even more grateful to have this to lay on my abdomin/side.So I felt the need to correct my original review because this is a really great product. Thank you for making one in this size. The only complaint I have would be maybe making the controller the way the smaller one was and with an illuminated screen/backlight with 2 hour shut off you can turn off if you’d like and or timer. Also more heat levels would be nice but the high heat seems adequate enough especially for kidney/flank pain.(I shouldn’t have to say this,but just in case,I have to suggest anyone reading this go to the hospital if you’re experiencing that lol this is just a temporary therapy).But I honestly have no other complaints.Its so soft and just heavy enough to be calming and everything I need it to be. Even if it does go out months from now like I’ve read in other reviews, it is without a doubt worth the price to repurchase. I promise you won’t find a better one.

I love the size and the weight of the heating pad. It worked great up until last night; the metal on the controller got sooooo hot it hurt to touch it.

The pad worked quite well for the short time it was operational. It lasted just a couple of months now won’t turn on. I was hoping for a little more reliability for the price.
