I am new to cpap and didn't want to keep going back to the clinic constantly trying on different masks to find one to work with my beard so I gave this a shot after the partial face mask didn't work for me. I saw it was the same connector and for the price figured it wouldn't hurt. Even without changing the head strap meant for the other style of mask this thing worked so much better for me! I'm a mouth breather when I sleep so I had to get a chin strap and different head strap for the frame but all still very affordable. I have no leakage issues. I do get woken up on occasion if I roll to my side and the air flow 'hiss' is too loud but that is super minimal.*Note: I did experience some soreness under the nose from using this at first but after looking online gave lanolin nipple balm a try and the soreness has not returned. I just put a little touch of it under the nose before gearing up and it works like a charm!

These are not designed perfect for everyone and I get that, but it seems someone would have the market cornered on the exact right fit using a mold or something-even if it costs more, it would be worth not waking up 3x a night when the deal breaks, that’s how it was before CPAP for me, although what was snoring or not breathing that woke me. Overall you get what you pay, not a bad product!

My mask isn’t tight; however, I’m waking up sore under my nose. I can’t quite figure it out but I think I’m going to have to go another route. My nose looks slightly bruised.
