A great garage door opener
Unit works great and as everyone else has said is very quiet. The motion sensing light is a nice feature and I like the large LED light. Install was typical for a garage opener with very good instructions and a couple of good you tube videos are available. The battery back up and the phone app are nice features and both work well. Be aware that it DOES NOT come with an outdoor keypad. Other than that it is an excellent unit.

Super Quiet and Really Bright
We purchased two of these to replace our old openers. The install takes a few hours but as long as you make sure it's all level and balanced correctly they are the best openers we've ever used. Super quiet operation, and the light is so nice and bright we end up using the light on the openers rather than turning on the interior garage lights. The only thing I wish was different is being able to purchase this product without the wi-fi connectivity. Personally, I don't care how "secure" they want to tell you it is, in my opinion, putting anything that provides access to your home on the internet is a huge security risk. I opted to not connect it to my wi-fi and use them as "dumb" openers and I'm super happy. It would just be nice to have the option to pay a bit less without the wi-fi features.I will say that the manual (can you even call it that?) is terrible, so you definitely want some experience before trying to install these yourself. If you know what you're doing, go for it, otherwise, get a pro to do it for you.

Love it! Quiet operation!
Bought this to replae my older chamberlain chain pull opener. The old one sounded like “chump, chop chu chu chu”. Sounded as if a roller coaster was being pulled up an incline. With this belt drive it sounds so much smoother and quieter. You can’t tell when the garage door opens and the dogs don’t bark when they hear it open because it so quiet. I intend to use spray grease on some of the joints of the door to improve the movement. I watched the 3D setup which helped a lot although I needed further clarification from the manual in some steps. Make sure to adjust the spring tension like the instructions say to or else your belt will sag! The MyQ app is good. I like how you can get notifications of status change of the opener. I have a separate cam outside my garage too. The led light is bright but doesn’t light up my garage from corner to corner but does very well lighting the center of floor. Setting up the open/close settings was very easy along with the backup battery. Overall I like how I can open my garage door without the entire neighborhood knowing.

A lot to like but some misses.
Firstly, I should say that the motion detection feature does not apply here- the opener shipped with a notice that the motion detector was control was not available due to supply chain issues. To Chamberlain's credit they made a very easy to use website to request a replacement when it becomes available. On the downside, who knows when that will happen. I won't fully complete my install until that arrives. This was bought to replace a Genie gear drive model from about 15 years ago. I was hoping for quieter operation, better lighting, and updated connectivity. It delivered pretty well on these items. For my install, I benefited from the existing hardware and did not need to make any major modifications. Instructions were very good, but I wish the print was larger... Wear your glasses at all times.Things I really like about this opener: Very quiet as advertised. The motor has a somewhat higher pitch than I expected, but overall very preferable to the low but intense hum of the Genie gear drive that was replaced. I should note that I replaced the original rollers with better sealed bearing models around the same time so the overall noise reduction is a combination. But the opener here made the biggest difference for me.The install went relatively easy, did it by myself. I consider myself an "intermediate plus" at tackling projects. I found that I had all the tools necessary but I have owned my home for 18 years. If you're a brand new homeowner, some tools like an impact wrench, etc. might make the job easier. So the assembly of the opener is very straightforward. The hanging of the rail and motor are pretty easy as well, but especially if you are replacing an existing install. I would not have attempted this if there were no opener in place- this is the third one in our garage, and the first one I did myself. I don't recommend installing any opener for the first time by yourself unless you are an advanced or trained person.Anyway, on to my complaints. Although they did pretty well, overall, the safety sensor brackets are almost a COMPLETE FAIL. Firstly, the design allows some fine adjustability, but not where it matters most. They hope you can clip these on to your existing rails. Ha ha. No way the clips are wide enough to accommodate any rail made. Then, the brackets they provide are so short from the wall that you are almost guaranteed to have to extend them. Why not just make them longer, or add some adjustability? Must be the money. So I had to work hard to extend them to the right length. Cut some 2x4 pieces, then added 6 washers with the screws to get the right length. This is not a strength area, so please Chamberlain make it easier for your customers to make this adjustment. A few dollars would not kill anyone here to make a better bracket. Finally, an aesthetic thing- maybe most annoying, and showing the most lack of attention to detail. Cable management. The opener ships with some "insulated staples" to be used for running the sensor wires. I threw them away already because they are absolutely dreadful. For a residential garage that you might want to look nice, these won't work- they look like a late 60s Christmas light display on steroids. Please do better here. An industrial application, maybe but for most homeowners I don't think this will cut it.Also, and there are videos available and I may have seen too late- the sensor cables can be run right down inside the rail! I was able to run the wires fairly discreetly outside abut inside the rail would have been much more preferable. It seems that Chamberlain dropped the ball significantly here. Shame, shame shame. They don't seem to care much about the customer experience. I hope they are reading these reviews.

Great opener and quiet!
Bought two of these and they have been great. They're quieter than traditional openers, but definitely not silent. The noise has a different tone that's hard to describe but is definitely an improvement. I also really appreciate the extra lighting on these. I have two of these in a three car garage and they completely light up the garage. I hardly ever find myself using the switched lights anymore. Very happy with the purchase.

Sounds good, works as intended
Something about a garage door that sounds silky when you close it. Like quiet air?!? It is satisfying. We got a new garage door and got this opener to go with it. It has several cool features you can control from an app. Including notifying you if the door has been opened. Good warranty it seems. Hope to not need that but this seems to be a quality product and would purchase again. The man installing the garage door installed this for us so I cannot speak for installation ease.
