I just want to preface this with a little background as to why I'm hyping up plain white masks so much. I've made poor mask choices this entire pandemic. It's taken me a while to find the right fit.I bought these because I don't like reusable masks, at all. When I went back to work a few months ago and needed to wear one every day for ten hours at a time, I realized right away I'd be sick to death of the perfumes that were in whatever I'd be laundering and sanitizing my fabric masks in, so I switched to disposable ones. There were a couple mornings that I'd put on a mask I'd washed the night before and the smell just ANGERED me cause I knew I'd be smelling it ALL day as I worked. No matter how sweaty and exhausted and sore I'd be at the end of the day, the laundry or soap smell was just IN MY FACE like a cherry on top. I got fed up and switched. Wasteful? Yeah. But I can breathe, literally and figuratively.They're more comfortable, I can mold them to my face better (I wear glasses and I've never had fog with disposable masks), and I don't have to worry about them sucking into my mouth and nose when I talk or do anything strenuous that makes me breathe heavy. I walk nonstop at work and sometimes climb 54 steps at a time, so I need a mask that stays put on my face.When I wore fabric masks, I even tried those plastic cups (that look like athletic supports) you put underneath to create a space to speak easier, and all they did was make my face sweat.I own a few bulk packs of novelty colorful and printed masks and I got sick of picking a couple out for the day and being like, "is this going to match what I'm wearing?" so I finally bought white ones.THESE ARE THE ONLY DISPOSABLE MASKS THAT HAVE NO SMELL TO THEM. Usually any kind of dye or processing smell would dissipate after an hour or so of wearing and I'd just get over it (there's a lot about masks I think people just need to get over) but I'm genuinely surprised these have NO smell. No perfume, no chemical, no plastic-y smell.They're thick, they're big enough for adults, they're perfectly breathable and flexible, and I haven't found a single manufacturing flaw in one yet. I paid like $6 for $50 and I got a better quality with these than any others I've bought. Only once did I have some loose fibers tickling my nose but that could have been lint from anything. Even the loops are better than any others I've bought.I'm very very very happy with them.

They form well around the nose and seem quite breathable. If anything, they may be just a tiny bit small on how they cover your face. For most people, they will be absolutely fine. They are slightly rigid, and stand away from the face & mouth a bit - which I like. No odd smells. Material is soft on the skin. Ear loops are small and very stretchy. Masks arrive double wrapped. The bundle inside the box is wrapped in plastic, and then the entire box is wrapped in plastic. And what everyone REALLY wants to know - yes, they are made in China. Frankly, I don't care where they are made. The Chinese were some of the first in the world to adopt masking, even before COVID-19. I feel like they have a vested interest in making a decent mask, so whatever.

I work in healthcare, specifically the ER, and while the rest of the world is coming out of masks we’re still in for 12 hr stretches. I’ve had opportunity to try so many masks over the past few years. Wish I’d discovered this one a long time ago. Best fitting, most breathable mask I’ve used thus far. I can even double mask, which I do quite often, without compromising my ability to breathe. This is a good one people!!

If you're looking for a universal black mask that is adjustable and expandable this is a smart choice. I like using these masks as a double-mask for my N95s when going into high risk situations. I was double-masking with a black bandana, however I live in Los Angeles and did not want to be mistaken as a gang imbecile. So, bottom line, I felt these were safer in more ways than one.
