What diameter tire is max?

The tires I store on mine are mounted on 17" wheels, and the tire size is 235/45. They fit fine with a fraction of an inch to spare.

This really only holds 265 pounds? my wheels with tires are 105 pounds each. anyone have any experience with 400+ pounds on this unit?

Only 4 casters, no wheel bearings, just bushings. There are heavier duty options than this one, one has 5 casters and a 1000 lb capacity that will hold small or large tires with rims.
